This is amazing. I will certainly be using this for my world building. As a new DM, I've been looking at ways to inspire my worldbuilding. Awesome stuff!
Having played this a couple of times, even once alone this is better when done with a couple of people. Three are actually a very good number for this. Doing it with 4 or more people is absolutely fun but gets a bit lengthy due to all the riffing and paperwork. If you are going to use it as a world for a setting having your players be part of it makes them instantly more invested. Just make a rule that you can veto stuff that is too out of your comfort zone.
Every mapmaking...I dunno, every mapmaking algorithm? like this is *wonderful* to me. I *love* this, I want to learn how to sketch really well to make some pictures of stuff, and then I never do it ._.
I have played this a couple of times and it has been a hoot. For the love of christ let the dice fall where them may and just roll with it. You will not be dissapointed. We had some horrible shit come about due to this. Like a desert with cactus people who are being terrorized by a now godlike pygmy owl that lives in their hollowed out corpses. Howl the Hollow is now a legendary being among our friends.
