Hello how do you operate the engine brake on a fendt TMS like a 820? Cheers
Could you also do a video on all the other controls in the cab like hitch and hydraulics if you still have this tractor thanks 👍

The Engine brakes are usually on the ground of the cab. I have honestly never seen one...

Hi. If you want to use brakes do you need to press the clutch? or you just let of the accelerator and press brakes?

Hello, the Fendt 712 has a turbomatic clutch, meaning if the brakes are applied the transmission will disengage allowing the tractor to stop without stalling. The clutch is used when initially starting the tractor and may be used when coming to a complete stop. In TMS, the tractor will automatically decelerate and come to a complete stop when the accelerator is lifted, the brake is necessary when coming to fast stop in TMS. :)

@@thehoulahan4421 But can you use the brakes without clutch. Like if you trailing the trailer with air brakes . so then you need to press clutch when you wanna stop fast? Thanks for help.

@@patrikas1152 Hello, Happy to help a fellow Fendt fan! Yes air brakes should be connected to the turbomatic clutch. It all depends on the model, if it is older than 2000, you should be good.

Can you make a video explaining what thr different buttons does? How the hydraulics are operated - if you have an front loader how to switch between operating it and the back end hydraulics

A silly question, without the pedal mode and without the tms, if the engine is at 1000rpm at 5Km/h, what happens if I increase the engine speed to 2000rpm without touching the joystick, the tractor go to 10Km/h or does it continue at 5Km/h

    • @thehoulahan4421

Hello Francisco. Good question ! The Fendt Transmission has the ability to maintain the speed no matter the RMP, exceptions are speeds above 20km/h. If you set the cruise of push the joystick until you reach 5km/h, the RPM may be 700 or 2200, the speed will remain that of which you have selected.

@@thehoulahan4421 Thank you very much for answering, I thought that in the joystick mode without the Tms, the tractor speeds up to 10Km/h, as if you control the "gear" with the joystick, but the vario is a very interesting transmission that generates these doubts

@@franciscorodr7966 You are right, if you accelerate to 5kmh and have 1000 rpms, you will go to 10 kmh if you throttle up to 2000. I prefer driving a vario on that mode, you are better in touch with your tractor
