You made this video just to make me extremely jealous! Ugh. They are gorgeous babies! Big boy is somewhat humorous the way he lands on that suet cage. Beautiful video ad always. These guys never disappoint. ❤️
These woodpeckers and little finch are very nice to see. Great up close views. Keep enjoying them and hope they are all safe and the virus does nothing to the nature.
Thanks. Keep trying, it will be worth the wait. I still remember the excitement the first time a pileated came in and I was able to get a picture of it. I haven't seen one for several weeks now, but sometimes I see them several times a day.
Lol 😄 I was buckled in for dear life! That "stinKER" truly shows Who Rules the roost! Not sure about you but, I hear Old Woody knocking away every year. I'd rather he was knocking at a neighbor's house instead. I act as though I'm Not Home, and turn up the tunes 😅!
So glad you survived the collision, my Friend! Yes I do hear Old Woody Woodpecker knocking! I have a decorative 4' x 4' post outside my kitchen window (for a flower box), and the wood-boring bees have bored many little holes in it. Guess who likes the bee larvae? Right - Old Woody himself. I occasionally hear him beating his brains out on that post, and I pound on the window to shoo him away. Trying to get a video, but he's usually too far down the post.
You could set up another camera from below, perhaps! I'm interested in getting one myself to film "the birds".. not the movie 😅. What kind of camera do you have? You are a good story teller yourself. Its a pleasure meeting you. Tell Woody for me that if he doesn't settle down, he'll be "knock knock knocking on heavens door!"
@@ginafriend1690 I have an Ultra HD Flip Cam, made by Cisco, but they discontinued making them a few years ago. You can still find them on Amazon and Ebay, but I don't think the software is still supported. I have to do a work around to post on UA-cam. Thanks for your kind compliments. It is indeed a pleasure meeting you also, Gina. I'm glad you "found" me! You've blessed me with a delightful 2 days!

Interesting looking characters.
I get a few pileated here in Kentucky. I see some redheads too.
Thanks for stopping by. Those two woodpeckers are two of my favorite birds.
Still trying to get pileateds to my feeders and still trying to capture one on video/photo. Great job!
