I am glad a custom one is in the works. With the bizarre way Super Mario Maker 2 added so much, yet took away so many things from the first game, I want an editor that has it all. Would also be nice if it has multiplayer like Super Mario Maker 2. As cool as it is to see more gameplay features in the SMB theme, I still hope players can decide if they want to remain faithful to the original gameplay or remix it. I don't want _every_ theme to play identically.
@@BlueTelevisionGames Oh yeah. And it's real interesting to see new sprites & Mario animations in that styles as well. New Spin jumping animation? Small Mario ducking or looking up? Carrying stuff (I think I saw that in someone else's video)? I'd like to get a hold of a sprite sheet showing all SMB1 animation frames. I did spend a few minutes searching on Google with insufficient results containing a lot of missing content. I'll try searching again at another time. :-/
