Ray... Thank you for (becoming to)loving Elvis...Not a day goes by without me listening to Elvis..
You "Get" Elvis...you see him...like we all do...Elvis is still so underrated...
There should be a radiostation just playing Elvis..

You’ve got to see the full Martin Sheen interview on Elvis. It cut off when he was asked about Elvis’ acting. Please. I know I have requested it at least twice, most specifically when you began. I can’t compete with those who can afford to donate their request.

Anyone who has ever met Elvis has not said a bad thing about him. Facts. Those who have, don't know him and probably just jealous

Whitney Houston got one thing wrong, though: her mother Cissy only worked very briefly with Elvis, since she left the Sweet Inspirations in 1969 to pursue a recording career more than touring and doing concerts. So, she only was part of Elvis' backing vocalists for the first (and actually his return to the stage) season at The International Hotel in Las Vegas, which was a total of 5 weeks in the summer of 1969.

I remember saying to my brother, I wonder will Elvis sort of fade away now after he's gone. Boy I could never have been so wrong. To think that young folks into today's Rap music become fans. Like yourself and younger. Let alone go to Graceland. That's something I would have laughed at. And then to see him enter number one again in the charts in 2002. The last time he did that was with Jailhouse rock 1957.

His comment about Steve Martin's sense of humor shows just how smart Elvis was.

Such a great vid. There were so many people who said good things about Elvis. Larry King once said, "I have interviewed so many people who met Elvis and I have yet to meet anyone who didn't like him,v and said he was a nice guy". Thanks Ray, enjoyed this so much. 😍😍

And now Goldie Hawn is married to Kurt Russell who not only worked with Elvis as a child but has also played him in movies

Fun Fact: Kurt Russell also worked with Elvis. His very first film was in the Elvis movie, "It Happened At The World's Fair". Kurt Russell played a bit part. He was just a kid.
He gave an excellent interview on The Graham Norton Show. The host started to put Elvis down in that very British way you know and Kurt Russell cut him off at the pass and the audience's laughter stopped when Kurt Russell talked about Elvis and the influence Elvis had on his own life and career.
By the end you could tell Kurt Russell had completely humbled the audience and the host.
Kurt Russell also played Elvis in the 1980's biopic made about Elvis's life.
My Aunt was a fan of both men. As for me I will never forget Kurt Russell as Snake Plissken in "Escape From New York". Simply iconic movie now and damn don't I feel old saying that 😂
Fact: B.B. King's manager also got to meet Elvis. Another one that gave a fantastic interview. He said that he was none too impressed by the name Elvis Presley. But fate stepped in one night and Elvis was at the same venue he was (I think Elvis was there to catch B.B. King's show). So while B.B. King was getting ready to meet people backstage the manager found himself in the presence of Elvis. And he said at that time I was not a fan of Elvis. I was all set to be not impressed by him. But I never felt a presence like Elvis's. And he was a nice guy, a really humble guy. I became a fan of the man after I met him.
Fact: Bruno Kirby also told a really great story about Elvis and the first time he met him. I won't spoil it because I know someone will bring the video to your attention Ray.
Fact: Fats Domino was there in Las Vegas on 1969 at the Press Conference held after Elvis's show and when a reporter called Elvis "the King of Rock 'n' Roll" Elvis said, "I'm not the King of Rock 'n' Roll. There's the *real* King of Rock 'n' Roll." Elvis pointed at Fats Domino. "Fats Domino ladies and gentlemen."
This is ALL Googleable Actual Factuals.
    There's more. So much more.
It's pretty bonkers how much there is proving the rumors to be just that: rumors.
But you look up the word charisma and clicks: A charismatic person is someone that immediately draws people to them or immediately repels people away from them.
Very rarely will people feel "like warm" about a person possessing of charisma.
A charismatic person inspires mostly extreme reactions from people.
Now ladies and gentlemen is that not Elvis? Does that not describe him to this day to an absolute T?
I think I have said all there is to say here.
Ray, my brother from another mother of an other color, I will also say that you are a charismatic person. You have people that are immediately drawn to you. But you also have people that hate on you for no real reason. Not any logical reason anyway.
Miss Nancy thank you so very much for this one 💖💜💖💜💖💜💖💜
Ray thank you for ALL that you do from the bottom of mi corazon 💖🙏💕
    TCB ⚡ & TLC ❤ & peace ✌& blessings 🙏 to you & yours & to one & all here as well 💕

Sammy have you watched Rockology and his interview with the Denver Mafia,? The were bodyguards to Elvis whenever he went to Colorado for vacation or concerts. They are all retired policeman and have great stories about spending time with Elvis! Even let Elvis do a ride along! Elvis was supposed to stay in the car on a possible dangerous call. Of course he didn't and jumped out all pumped up acting like He was a cop! 🤣 Please check it out if you haven't already and see if it's something Ray would be interested in. I think he would be, because he's like us, anything Elvis we hunger for. Thank you

thank you Miss Nancy!!! thanks Ray!!! this was 🥰
and always on point for the Relvis fam... what's so fascinating and amazing is that even in the small group of well-known people represented in this video: they all come from very different political and socio-economic and racial and ethnic backgrounds. left to right, city, country, all ages, everything in between, etc.
    🌎🌍🌏
who else can claim to have this loving adoring effect on so_many_people? wherever/whomever they are.
    🎶🌸🎶🌸
i hope part 2 includes Elliott Gould (who, if you don't already know, was a huge very "cool" actor in his own right in the 1970s and who was Barbra Streisand's first husband. and Kurt Russell, who's first movie role was as a kid who kicks Elvis in the shins in "It Happened at the World's Fair." Kurt would of course later play Elvis in a TV movie, AND partner for life with Goldie Hawn, and very renowned in his own right). both are warm and funny interviews.
    🎞️😂🎞️😂
i'll post links in comments if they're not in Part 2.
    📼
what a treat this is 💝
we sure need this universal love these days. peace ✌🏼 Ray and Vibe gang, thanks again Miss Nancy.

To know Elvis was to love Elvis. The three people I can think of who had negative things to say, Chuck D, Ray Charles and Quincy Jones, didn't have that experience. I think things would have changed if they had.

Tom Parker, Elvis's manager, actually kept so much music, movies and business away from Elvis. So sad that he did that. The main thing was that, during Elvis's movie career, Elvis always wanted a serious movie career without having to sing in his movies. Tom Parker forced him to do so because of the contract Elvis had with Hollywood.
There's only one movie he in his movie career that he didn't perform within the movie. That movie was CHARRO. His performance was, in my opinion, just beautiful and amazing. Check that movie out. Hope you do a reaction to it.

Elvis went into the army in the draft during the height of his popularity and served just liked the other young men. He didn't have to., he could have gotten out of it. One of our presidents was a draft dodger in the Vietnam war. Bill Clinton ran off to Canada to keep from getting drafted. I couldn't believe anybody would vote for him for that reason, but they did, twice.! Our young men were dying over there. Young men my age didn't come back. Bill Clinton, the draft dodger. How could America?
