The reason for that is that you guys are using an older version of the mod, the original dev has begun a team and has now released a new version of the mod called Star Wars Legion by decaf. If you download that almost everything is the exact same except the maps. Please read the mod description to find out how to bring back the old maps

Is it single player too?
Unfortunately the game does not include AI to allow you to play on your own.
