Yep, a whole walkthrough of this whole game.
In this game, you control Freddi traversing through mazes much like Pac-Man. The goal is to get all of the kelp seeds and you'll advance. I sometimes purposely skip kelp seeds to make sure I can get all of the bonuses and stuff. I will only be showing one bonus round, as they are way too long.
This seems to be the most popular Junior Arcade game. I have it placed in second behind Putt-Putt and Pep's Balloon-o-Rama. This is a great game though; the mazes are extremely well-done and creative, it's addictive, and the music is fantastic (Then again, it IS Jeremy Soule, so it's expected). My complaints are that it moves too slowly and the custom level editor is way too limited, allowing you to do maybe 30% of what the actual game offers. There is a developer's editor (either go to hegames.ini and add "RhettCool=1" under [Maze] or press Ctrl+D on ScummVM and type "room 5"), but there have been no reports of being able to test a level. It's still a great game none the less. - Ігри
You would not believe how much of a nostalgic impact this game had on me!
Bruh been searching for this game for so long lol. Memories man.
The very first Freddi Fish game I ever owned when I was but a little 3 year old back in '98. The memories.
Beautiful game; for kids' games, I forgot how "deep" these Junior Arcade games would get, gameplay-wise with all the items you have to use and whatnot. Always loved the music as a kid, too. Jeremy Soule is such an illustrious and awesome composer...I am buying the Elder Scrolls games just for his music.
Wow it's like I'm 6 all over again. Good times
I MISS THIS GAME SO MUCH!!!
And I'm 20 and in the Air Force... I should probably find something better to miss lol
This game has one of my favorite HE Games soundtracks. I love to put this playthrough on in the background quite often. Haven't seen you post a video in a while, I hope that you're doing well.
nostalgia everywhere, lol.
This was my amazing childhood.
For the first stage, that sounds like music I would hear in a grocery store back in the '90s
I played this at school as a kid...I got to the last stage of levels and just couldn't finish it...well guess it wasn't worth it since the ending animation was pointless.
BTW, thank you sooooooooooooooooooooooo much for these walkthroughs! UA-cam and it's contributors allow me to see things I wouldn't otherwise have instant access to! :)
Nostalgia everywhere!
Same here m8!I WANNA BE A KID AGAIN T_T
my childhood
I remember that Freddi Fish arcade childhood game
i'm 20 and a game developer :) i miss this too :) nah i'll be missing this shit till i grow old and die :) these are the early games i played and yet crave :)
OMG! and just saw the 5 parts of Freddie Fish and I didn't know it had a 6 part though haha lol ♥
@Anthonyg3281 This is the 1999 version, so it has different demos from the original. It has Putt-Putt Enters the Race, Spy Fox 1, Pajama Sam 2, Backyard Baseball, and Freddi Fish 4.
I still Love it
I just wanna know how he had unlimited bubbles?
It's fun to play is just like Pac-Man
I think nostalgia blinds you on a lot of aspects. I wouldn't really consider it a perfect game by any stretch, as it does have many things that it could improve on. The level editor is insanely limiting and needed a crap ton of improvement. I also think that the pace was a little slow. It can also get tedious if you're trying to aim for a higher score.
Yeah, my only complaint with these arcade games were the limited features in the custom level designers. I enjoyed this game a lot though.
@wiley1080 No, this wasn't done in one shot. You see, I'll record a bunch at a time, then take a break. I'll come back and start shooting again, and in WMM, I'll merge those clips together.
THANK YOU LEGOKING. The game arrived today (very exciting), and I played til level 24. Then I got stuck in the annoying first screen where you come out on the left side and all the bubbles are there...they kept shooting me beyond the gyser, and then I had to go ALL THE WAY BACK. I really hate those bubbles now...
Heh, Luther's appetite is bigger than his body. ^^
MWolfL all 50 levels very done
What An Awesome Game! Guess What? I Even Have The Soundtrack For It! I Love It That Much! Its That Good!
@Budgiebrain994 I already made a video about that. That's actually an early version of Squoosh, which wasn't officially made a minigame until Putt-Putt Travels Through Time.
i used to play this like every day!!
i loved map creator ;_;
Omg,my childhood,so much nastolgia,I WANNA BE A KID AGAIN T_T
@jamessterV2 You haven't seen anything yet. Spy Fox: Hold the Mustard is nearly three hours! (Not that I've made a walkthrough for it, but dang it's SOOOOOO long)
@Peachtotheinfinity It's been since taken away from me for no reason at all. I have no idea why.
8:55 Determination!
this was the first freddi fish game i played
right in the childhood
What's with the broken level 25?
I wouldn't say it's on of the greatest. It definitely needs improvement in several areas, and is a little too repetitive to consider it amazing. Plus, this game can't hold a candle to the adventure games.
44:00 My fave level
Awesome.
MY LIFE!!!!! STILL!!!! XD
@Peachtotheinfinity UA-cam has began to uncap accounts. They've been very vague on the criteria though. They say you have to have good history on violations, but that's a lie as I have two strikes and still can upload long videos.
@jamessterV2 630 MB, though when saving it, WMM predicted 666 MB. Does it think this game is evil?
@legoking831 SIX HUNDRED AND THIRTY MEGABYT- *BOOM*
LOL! Yes, a kids game about two little fish in a happy world is oh-so-evil. :P
@Lingyan203 The score I got in this video.
Universal Logo Freddi Freddi Fish And Luther's Maze Madness
@legoking831
Doesn't this game sorta remind you of Pac-Man?
good times
Final Score: 33,899
I haven't played this game in so long...
There are 50 labyrinth levels !
@jamessterV2 Oh heavens no. I will be waiting a LONG time before that. It's so boring and slow, and the music is guaranteed to get you to rip your ears out from its intense repetitiveness (Ugh, HE, why couldn't you get Jeremy Soule or George Sanger for this one? They're both awesome!). It's the only HE Arcade style game that I haven't played all the way through more than once, and that's saying a lot.
omfg i used to play this when i was i was like 5.
OMG Nostalgia
The file size... o.o
@EspioArtwork ...And?
@legoking831
Th... Th... Three hours?
Better start uploading now if you want a walkthrough of it on UA-cam by 2011. :P
@legoking831 ?
Since when could you upload hour long videos?!
Eheh, wow, I guess this game hasn't aged all that well. Nostalgia had distorted it in my memories to resemble something more like Aquaria.
Still, it seems to be a much 'fuller' game than most of the other Junior Arcades … I can remember looking at advertisements for them and not seeing any appeal. Then again, I was primarily obsessed with mazes as a kid, so this one won me over easily.
@legoking831 Duly Noted...
@EspioArtwork Ehh...HE arcade styled games weren't always linked to "enjoyable", but this is one of their better ones. It's more addictive than you might guess.
Now, if you REALLY want a boring game, check out Spy Fox: Hold the Mustard and Freddi Fish and Luther's Water Worries.
I'm pretty sure you were blinded by nostalgia when you wrote that comment.
JUNIOR HELPER!? WEAKLING!
In retrospect, yeah, I wish I hadn't been so quick to turn that on. Oh well.
I'm playing the game right now and the game becomes pretty much impossible at level 20 already without the bubble shooting powerup. It's either an impossible game without it or way too easy with it enabled.
The infinite lives thing doesn't really matter gameplay wise since either you will die infinitely or not at all depending on the other setting.
So yeah I don't blame you for enabling them.
The only thing really worth mentioning about infinite lives is that you won't have to restart a level due to a Game Over and you your score will never reset, but yeah...heh. I guess maybe it was for the better? This isn't a game I've tried playing without the Junior Helper, though I've played Dog on a Stick without it and can confirm it's a whole lot more nerve-wracking when you do.
