He merged(combined) all the visible layers into one new layer, keeping all the actual layers unchanged. Visible layers are those that have eye icon ON. He used shortcut Ctrl+Alt+Shift+E. On Mac, it's Command+Option+Shift+E.
How can you turn an image into a smart object if someone is holding the item in their hands or if part of the image is covered up? For example, if someone is holding a tumbler in their hands and you need that tumbler to become a smart object.
It does not work in Photoshop 2022, I repeated everything exactly according to the tutorial, but the tools in Photoshop 2022 work differently, I do not recommend this tutorial if you have a newer version of Photoshop than the author of the video

Yeah sure you can try but you might have to tweak values accordingly
The satin effect doesnt apply to each letter but rather to the whole text i have selected..can someone tell me why this happens??
