In the salon I use both. The tangle teaser is better for kids when they get those super dense mats, the wet brush is more gentle in in my experience but if the tangle is bad, the wet brushes bristles might not cut it. Grab one of each.
We have similar hair and I’ve recently learned too that damp hair works much better for styling. Especially with good product matches. I also tried dry styling where I went in with the styler on blow dried hair and no water. As long as the first ingredient is water, it should work fine. My hair came out amazing. I will stick to soaking wet hair for wash and gos only.
I have been in braids off and on since late summer of 2019. I got fed up with single strand knots🤬😡. I need light heat from a blow-dryer or braids to keep my hair stretched. I bet you will see even more retention with your protective style challenge 🤗🥰😍❤️ I don't trust the tangle teezer. Before the brush had a handle, I remember people were using it and over time they had midshaft splits in their hair strands which led to needing major haircuts. Your hair🤗🥰😍❤️!!
I need to try the Aussie conditioner, Mane choice, and the wet brush. I’m definitely rocking protective styles all 2020. 2019 was not a good year for length retention. I wore my hair straightened and in wash and go styles, and my hair hated me for it😫
As always, your hair is everything. I’ve used that mask and I’ve found it to ok. Not bad, not great. I’ve used better. In terms of the brushes, I tend to stay away from them. If anything I use the Felicia Learherwood and don’t use it every wash day.
Love your videos. ❤ I love the Wet brush as long as my hair is soaking wet with water and conditioner while in the shower. I always finger derange first.
Nice! I don't particularly like the round wet brush myself though I may revisit when I become more consistent with my hair though I often felt it make my hair tangled more. However, I love, love, love wet paddle brush. I think the biggest difference for me was because it have the holes on the back to help slide my hair more effortlessly. 🤷🏿♀️ I'm a little scared but I'll try to see how I like the tangle teezer.
I have used the Wet Brush in the shower a couple of times and the bristles have come out in my hair so I personally do not recommend the Wet Brush it's called The Wet Brush and I can't use it in the shower without it falling apart that's crazy I love the Tangle Teezer and works very well and I have no problems with the bristles on it
I really need a new brush yo use in shower to detangle cause my tangle teaser teeth are bending too much.. I have the one for thick curly hair but without the handle.. I feel like its ripping my hair out now.. Glad you did this video

Hi Curly Guy! I learned my hair accepts deep conditioners better when damp; not wet. I've been natural since September 2013 and just realized this.

that mane choice deep conditioner is everything! I love it and need to purchase more!!!
I’ve never used the tangle teaser brush but I love the wet brush.
I feel like the denman brush pulled more of my hair than the wet brush
Braids came out flawlessly
7:48, your hair is steaming lol 😂💕

Your hair didmt do good when straightened?
@@friedchicken892 I got fairy knots and so much heat damage on the ends. I had to cut off like 8-9” of hair.
@@shawneshawallace1452 Jeez sorry to hear. I thought straigh here helps retain length because less fairy knots.
*HAPPY NEW YEAR CG♥LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR NEW VIDEOS. LOOKING FAB AS ALWAYS.*

I have long straight hair and I do think the wet brush is better than the tangled teezer 😊
Thanks for sharing. Nice and simple wash day. I'm plan to protective style all winter.

I don’t know about the Tangle Teaser but don’t blow dry your hair with the Wet brush. The bristles will bend.

Nice video..I wonder if the wet brush wouldve done good as good if you were starting from a wash n go?
I know this is old, but it does great detangling a wash and go. I use it all the time and a wash and go is my only style
You can see how juicy your curls are
Thank you!
