Agree. Especially with regards to Lee Tae-gon. He brought sincerity to the role. That near psychopathic gift of compartmentalizing his life to where he shacked up with his mistress even as you believed the sincerity of his love for his ex-wife...not easy to portray, but he nailed it. The new guy just comes off as a typical cheater and doesn't create the conflicting maelstrom of emotions that Lee Tae-gon's potrayal did. Your sentiments about the other guy mirror my own. The previous actor had that naive Peter-Pan personality down to a tee whereas this new guy just plays it too much like a regular guy. Disappointed in the new MIL too. The other one looked like a woman desperate to hold onto her looks and seduce her stepson. She provided comedic relief but also a bit of danger in that she had that blousy vixen presence about her. The new actress just comes off like a older housewife with none of that seething sexuality just beneath the surface.

I was so excited for Season 3, when I seen a different cast for some actors, I thought it was just a dream and the original cast was going to show up. I am having a hard time watching this season, it’s just not the same 😢

I'm not saying that the new actors are bad, but the previous doctor already had his personality in the series as well as the stepmother, they played a tremendous role in the series. When making the change, is no longer the same, same with the lawyer. I was honestly disappointed with this change.
First off it was a shock , the sexy doctor , Sung Hoon and the crazy mother in law they were perfect , excellent actors , there is so much going on in season 3 I try not to focus on the missing actors except when they show those boring flashbacks they remade with the new cast , The drama is excellent but you should have never taken out all that eye candy

If they were gonna recast them they should’ve recast doctor shin with Hyun Bin and the lawyer with Nam Joo Hyuk in my humble opinion I think they have the right vibe and aesthetic as the originals.

The dr is supposed to be tall, strong, very masculine and handsome.. I don’t see it now. The new cast member looks as old as the doctor and the new step mother as though maybe a veteran actress, does not physically meet the role. Why was there a casting change,flip? No disrespect to these actors but I am finding it 3difficult to follow along so a blank them out and follow the storyline.

There’s no pizzazz there’s nothing that attracts me to these new characters. I can’t help but think that those 3 actors who left the series did so after seeing the script for season 3. While I haven’t seen the whole thing yet, the reviews I’ve read, well, everyone says it’s a complete train wreck. Those actors were all really good in difficult nuanced roles but they probably didn’t want to attach themselves to a drama which goes downhill so quickly. It’s a shame. It was getting quite compelling but I must say, season 2 episode 16 ended on a true WTF note. I mean - huh???
