the rotor is correct the losi video with the engineer went over that or it was the disk brake service video I forget now but he did mention it should be like that mine moves like that as well I had a 69 Camaro as well my firs car in Highschool Still have a 91 Z28 and a 2017 50th Anniversary SS 05 GTO and a 15 Chevy SS
Yeah I guess I was just surprised to see a floating rotor because that's what you see in some real ones My CR 250R didn't have that but I think KTM did or the other way around can't remember it's been a while since I've ridden 😂🤣😂🤣 yeah I've had my 69 since I was 19 it was a true barn find and did not look obviously the way it does now and there was definitely a bunch of surprises that I discovered over the years with originality in this particular car 👍💯
Really looking forward to running mine when it comes in..prolly be on backorder for 6 months but worth the wait it seems. Just looks stinking fun man !
Yeah the long wait is definitely a total bummer but the RC is a blast and to be honest with you I can imagine that they'll be all kinds of upgrades for it other than through Horizon/losi by the time you get it. I'm hoping for a rear paddle tire and a front ski 👍💯😜
Really like your videos. They are very well done. I'm learning a lot from them on this new dirt bike that I'm going to definitely buy. The technology is amazing. Very educational. I can definitely tell that this is the right career you have chosen for yourself. I have been in and out of the hobby for decades. This is getting me back into it. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge. Eveyone I have seen drive this bike truly looks like they love it.
Thanks! Was wondering about this yesterday. Got my pro circuit edition with the 50c batt and bought a 100c batt separately. Was planning to grab a 3rd batt, and this video helps. Gonna pay that extra $5 for the 100c spektrum batt. 😂
The Firebird was beautiful..... Wow, hope he was cool with the vid. A big statement from ray saying he'd take the bike over his trucks.... I can't wait to get a blast with it sometime.
😂🤣 The guy seemed super uncomfortable tried to talk to him but nah and some people are just like that It's all good he had a beautiful car and that's all that matters 👍💯
Bet this hobby shop loves guy! He’s the best advertisement they could ask for. who needs a kid holding a sign when you’ve got a running RC pulling the eyes?
And again I say this because the Horizon rep said and this was verified in the manual run time is 9-12 minutes with a cool down of 5-10 minutes to preserve the electronics( of course I think run time is probably more) I’d like your opinion because you have access to one whereas mine ( I’m getting two) are on backorede
Guy you're killing me here I'm answering every question that you have had. You even went to my merch shop and asked me questions there and I answered you. I don't work for the shop I don't have my own hobby store I can only do what I can do as far as time frame and answering questions. Hopefully I've been able to help a little bit.
I've heard speed runs with the stock battery at about 40 mph, in other video's. I think the speed come from the miliamp and not the c's. The c's is for run time from what I understand, but I could be 100% wrong too.
Both packs were 5,000 milliamps One was 50C the other one was 100C The 100c is known to just give that little bit more I've proven it with some China Junks and the higher the milliamp normally the longer the runtime
@@BC-rcmah is the capacity/run time. C rating is the punch/power. Think of it like a water hose coming off of a water tank. The tanks capacity and water pressure coming out of the hose.
Awesome video I just became a subscriber to your channel- I think you said from last video how the 2s lipo from spektrum gave you all about a 30 minute run time- correct?
Yes that's an approximation Don't forget it's not full trigger I believe the timed amount was about 37 minutes and this was its first time out for everyone there
What about heating issues you mentioned at the start of this video where you took it inside and you said something about it cooling off( not that you took it in for that purpose) so in your opinion from running how long can you run it on average before you have to let it cool?
There are way too many variables to answer that question plainly. Obviously hard running trigger equals less runtime and more heat. My assumption is turn after turn after turn is going to possibly heat up the gyro because that is a separate motor turning a 1 lb flywheel. Ambient temperature also plays a part It was in the upper 80s for that particular day if I remember correctly.
I'm holding off on placing my order until they fix all the bugs from the first batch and also waiting for the aftermarket parts to improve the product.
Don't believe any of this hype.. this is for only dealers and You Tube promoters. The hobbyists like me are not going to get we paid for until winter or next year. No joke just watch

I get Losi being a bit weary about sale with the history of rc bikes. Horizon, learn from this. we trust and know you put out great gear!

It is indeed a floating disc.
Granted this is RC was just shocked to see it here. I'm torn on the usage cause of plastic hub BUT they do make metal upgrades😂🤣😂🤣
We got a floater lol floating disc !
