I met Steve's POV in Monterey while searching for DDE during car week and what a cool guy he told me to put my daughter on the hood of his Ferrari. I took all kinds of pictures and he started it up and revved it . Just an all around genuine person. It was a day I'll never forget 💪

General consensus is probably that content from this time period is better than what we are getting now. In order to get back to this content they need to feel the pressure again for the channel to grow to the next step. DDE is sort of in a weird position because in the grand scheme of things Damon has completed his path. The man is daily driving a hyper car. In order for this channel to continue and Damon not to get burned out it needs to pivot and this is the era we are in now.

Feels like they've really be struggling for content lately, updates on cars being broken either still or again, false videos of shopping for cars that we know isn't going to happen, talks about selling cars that doesn't happen, find myself skipping through videos because there is just a lot of lies/ fake drama to drag videos lengths out, the click bait titles are over done too
this was the first golden age of DDE. the second will come when the F-12 is done, cars stop breaking, and you stop with the repeated clickbait and overwhelming amount of murcielago content
