Just happen to come across Rwandese dances whilst browsing the net, and wow! What a happy dance. Almost similar to our Namibian ovaHerero culture wedding dance (called Outjina). What have strike me is smiling dancers, one turns to thing that it is a requirement (to smile) when doing the dance because I have never seen happy dancers! Love From Namibia
Wow! I am so shocked, I was born and raised in the Caribbean and this dance and the lyrical harmony and vocals were always depicted as "Native Indian" but clearly we can see here who the true indigenous Indians were! The more I watch these kinds of videos on UA-cam, the more the truth of my ancestors is revealed to me. Thank you!!
@@mticha9566 I don't know if you are trying to be sarcastic or if you are literally lost, in any event I will try to help. Approximately 90% of Caribbean people are black descendants of African slaves. Given that these slaves were collected from many areas of Africa, most of us Caribbeans and others in the diaspora who are aware of the history, connect ourselves to ALL Africans. The question then becomes are the people of Rwanda Africans????? Or would they prefer to be called EUROPEANS ????
@@charcoaldigger7757 We're Rwandans and we don't need to explain ourselves. BTW, for your info, Rwanda never lost a single person to slavery. You just don't know what you're talking about.
I said this dance because I was actually in the middle of watching the ladies dance and I was so mesmerized by their enchanting movements; the way most African women are shown in mass media is so very different from what I see in videos like this, please keep posting. The more I watch the more I want to run home to Africa and find a wife.
Beautiful dancing, the style from this country different from any I’ve seen. It is really graceful and the music is also very beautiful. May God bless this couple and community.
This is graceful beautiful and cultural….a joy to watch your wedding. Thanks for posting. We who have been robbed of most things cultural thanks again for the reminder.
It’s good to try other African dances; I could not stop watching this video since I came across it on UA-cam. May the Lord bless the couple and their family. They danced so well, most especially the bridegroom and all their friends.
Such a pictureque wedding!! & what a beautiful, graceful cultural dance too. ABSOLUTELY amazing!! Wishing U a prosperous happily ever after marriage life 🤞🏾🤞🏾👌🏾👌🏾👏🏽👏🏽
I'm a single man from the U.S & I'm planning to travel to Rwanda to broaden my horizons, experience the culture, and hopefully meet a nice interesting young lady to complete my life. I've been watching videos on the culture of Rwanda and this wedding has by far given me the most insight on Rwandan culture. I am amazed, overwhelmingly inspired, and happy for both the bride and groom. 👍❤
Loved the cultural part. Beautiful. I’m Bissauguinean born and raised in Russia living in Portugal 🇵🇹. Thank you so much. May God bless your union in Jesus mighty name 🙏🏾

it's called the signature dance from Rwanda the Cattle dance for women as u have seen they dance imitating the long-horned loyal cows
@@fadhilinayituriki1678 Thank you for that information. I was wondering if there was a name for that dance.
