True stuff, many celebs take drugs and even commit suicide from the stress of media, paparzi and constant interviews. Some celebs are not even allowed to sleep for days and then you have the constant attacks from stalkers who visit your home or even having your children taken hostage for money.

lol, so true, and just recently he was on Dancing With The Stars, he and his partner made it to the final 3, they lost, but still. So not an ordinary life at all. The race car driving has taken a toll on him though, cause he said on the show in one of the interview bits that he has significant memory issues, like he'll forget everything that happened during huge chunks of time unless it's written down or recorded somehow, so that sucks.
Yeah but being ordinary isn't the same to everyone and he did what he wanted to do and that's beyond respectable to leave jobs that pay so high to be the person he wants to be

If I were famous and had already made up to $15 - $20 million, I'd personally give up on fame as well to live in privacy and have the life that I really want. Anything above $20M for me is overkill and I just wouldn't care to have anything more than that for my current and future plans.

These celebs did what they truly wanted. No one can blame them for that! I can't say any of these celebs' choices shocked me, honestly. Every job has some kind of crud that comes with it, but if you can deal with the bad part of a certain job and still find fulfillment, then go for it! Most people hate customer service (for example) but there are people who excel at these jobs because they are good dealing with people even in difficult situations.
