I personally think that this animation has quite a story.

~ So I think that the pink hair guy has liked the blonde dude for a long time but the blonde dude doesn't know as they are close friends or so so. The pink hair guy doesn't want to tell the blonde dude because he is scared of ruining their friendship. The pink hair guy is also running away from his feelings but that only causes more trouble for him and the blonde dude. At the end the colour fade portrays how their relationship is falling apart even more because of all the secrets that they are keeping from each other. The blonde hair dude could have also rejected his feelings or more over just ignored his feelings as if they were a joke because he was scared and worried about what was going to happen to their current relationship if he did reject or accept his feelings. Either way I think that they were just scared of losing each other but in the end lost each other anyways because of their fear of losing eachother.

I think i understand.
Here's what i think is happening
So the guy with the pink hair is losing interest in the blond hair guy because look at the beginning at 0:17 - 0:24 it looks like the pink hair guy pushed the other guy to the side like he was moving on. And the guy with the blond hair looks sad. Also on 0:25 - 0:28 it looks like the blond hair guy is trying to make him have interest in him again but its not working , and on 0:30 - 0:33 it looks like they share their last kiss and hold each other for the last time before splitting up.
( idk their name's lol sorry if i offended anyone this just came to my mind lol. Plus this is really really good )

All this is referred to as "losing interest" 2 words with so much more meaning then at first glance.

Honestly this is what happened in our “Relationship”, sadly I was the one who is slowly loosing interest without noticing, then he found out I had lost interest in him, so then he just left saying “Sorry...”, it was like 3 years ago, nowadays we talk cold and we ignore each other, I know I was a fool but it was my first time having serious relationship with someone.
I always knew the lyrics without even looking at them...

So I might be reading too much into it, but they are in a relationship were it feels like they are moving apart , it is when they start hurting each other but they still love each other . so although they were about to part they came back but I kind of find the beginning scene of the pink haired guy kind of deceiving . at first they never showed the bandage on his face only a smile as though he was the bad person in this relationship but it felt like this smile was kind of like" I like him , I love him and his hurt by me leaving so I will swallow my pain for him" and so he returns and that's when we see the bandage on his face ,comparing the size of the bandages , the pink haired guy is more hurt by this relationship, it is the kind of relationship were they both sacrifice but one sacrifices more .and then you eventually see the pink haired guy covered in bandages and his colour fading this can be seen as if it was from the view point of the blonde guy. he can see his hurt but his losing interest ,he is falling out of love and the pink haired guy knows it but still loves him and stays and soo he gets hurt, when they hug the pink haired guy leans into his embrace because he is the one who needs him and not the other way round. while the blonde guy just stares forward he feels distant , he no longer loves him.

Every time I keep watching and listening to this video. I keep thinking of this one feeling every time from the song.
It's either the middle of fall or even the first day of winter. You feel this cold sensation slightly itching at you. Not in a painful way, but of a feeling of seasons change. I feel like the story starts out as the purple haired guy brushes pass him and the blond haired guy falls in love at first sight.
One day the blond haired guy starts developing the hyaki diseases. The blond guy starts flirting with him and the purple haired guy flirts back, then one day the purple guy kissed the blond guy and their relationship started. They’re both happy but when it turns black and grey that’s when it’s all falling apart. As they both probably broke up the blond haired guy is thinking of all the memories they shared. The moment he passed him, the laughs, the kiss, feelings, everything.
Or what if the blond guy just thought of those happy memories but suddenly it turns into dark memories that he can never get rid of since he still has those blue flowers on his hair and so he still has feelings for him but can only just hold onto those once happy memories.
Or what if the purple guy is a player or has a dirty secret that gives him bruises and the blond guy knew that but still wanted him. The blond guy starts to flirt with him and the purple guy is interested at first but suddenly gets bored of him and leaves him later on. So the only thing he can do is hold onto the memories.
Sorry for rambling but I really like this animation and I feel like it would make a great story.

I have a bunch of different interpretations on the video but here's one of my favorites:
The blonde haired boy and Magenta(?) Haired boy don't know each other. The Magenta haired boy likes the blonde one but has never actually talked to him. One day, the bumped into each other and the blonde haired boy saw him and took an interest in him but the Magenta haired boy was gone before he could really do or say anything. They run into each other again and start to talk and hang out after that. They become good friends (They both have feelings for each other by now) and one day Magenta hair kisses Blondie. My interpretation is that this is a flashback of events and that they are in a relationship but one of them is losing interest in the relationship and the other person and the one who is still invested in the relationship is replaying the happy memories in his mind.
I Thin Blondie loses interest as when you see him at 1:29 it looks like there's tears in whoever is looking at him's eyes.
