Avengers vs X men seems the easiest route forward. Incursion that means only one reality can survive. X men trying to save theirs and avengers trying to save theirs. Both lose, end up on battle planet trying to get things back to how they were.

All this makes perfect sense. I think the orgianl plan was to wait till after Secret Wars to bring in the X-men, but the way things are going now they need to pivot and bring them in sooner.
They really need to just do what made 97 so good. Just make sure whoever they hire to show run/direct/write are ACTUAL fans. Not just big names in Hollywood.
What I feel like should happen is that all the hero’s throughout this saga meet up at the battle world and earth 616 gets destroyed so all of them r helpless but all team up and kill Doom/Kang then maybe like a portal or a zero point sorta thing (not trying to compare it to Fortnite it’s the only thing I could rlly compare to) will suck everything in and spit it all out to reset the multiverse and the MCU as a whole

For the Marvel layperson...this is all tooooo complicated. In the earlier scenario we could follow the progress on a very linear plane. But,NOW...Marvel is shooting itself in the foot with all the re writes,delays,character changes...the speculation is that Feige is lossin' it! The Comic Con agenda is fading fast. It'd be cool if we start seeing Doctor strange pop up at the end of each "multiversal" project, becoming the nick fury of the multiverse avengers. Or they just scrap "multiverse avengers" and turn that into multiverse illuminati.

@@darlingtonokorie2474 I’ve been waiting for this, and I’ve lowkey thought this might be one of the causalities in Avengers 5, since they were saying secret wars would be more of a Strange leads the avengers vs Kang storyline like RDJ vs Thanos. Would give strange more motivation, besides just seeing the multiverse slowly collapsing, and would also establish kang(s) as more of a threat post ant man nerf
@@MRDNDcjc I can definitely see this being the initial plan. However, Marvel Studios has almost entirely changed the plan that we simply don't know where they intend to go with Kang as a multiversal threat. We know Strange will certainly still lead the team but he won't be doing the leadership thing alone and it most likely won't be against a Kang variant. We'll see how they spin it, of course.
At the end of the day, Strange would have to become Sorcerer Supreme, one way or another. Even if Wong does not die (since they've actually positioned as the new Nick Fury), he would have to hand over to Strange at some point.
I hope they do some great storytelling tho.

YES marvel will Focus on the Mutants AFTER Secret Wars Reboot, but it is possible they can ALSO focus on them now. Not by focusing on New characters or New Actors playing fan fav Characters, but by working off the idea that EVERY ONE of the older Actors/Actrresses playing Characters we use to love displaced throughout 616 Earth/Universe and focus on the Macro Aspect which isHOW they arrived here, Why thier universe failed, & how once again They are the ONLY mutants on that Earth and the issues that it brings instead of focusing on Micro Aspect of their own backstory/lives. Maybe by the end of Xmen vs Aveng5 the Fantastic 4 shows ups and they decide to ALL come together and work as a team against the Next Big Bad.

I've said it before and I'll repeat it, Marvel seems to be on a fast track to throw away one of the greatest potential phase opportunities. When the two Avengers films were focused on Kang and Secret Wars, it dawned on me how cool it would be if an entire phase happened between those movies focused on Battle World, similar to the comics.
Picture this: Secret Wars ends with Doom "resetting" the universe, but all the characters who were there when the change happened (or have deep ties to the multiverse in the case of characters like Strange, Deadpool, and Spider-Man), retain different, fragmented memories, and a strong sense that something is wrong. We then get a year or two of projects focused on the events unfolding in Battle World, continuing to develop our characters, solve the mystery of what exactly happened/is causing these things, and bring together a final group of Avengers to fight Doom in Avengers 7: Doom Dynasty. Additionally, this would give an excuse for some crazy pairings of characters that would have never been possible before.
There wouldn't be that many entries during this time; I'm thinking 3-5 movies and 4-6 shows max. Each entry would also be focused on showcasing different important things in this story.
Wow, this might be the first comment I've read with similar thoughts as me. Not sure it's a realistic idea, but I keep thinking about a movie or maybe a special presentation/tv show depicting how different versions of the illuminati tried to handle incursions or whatever multiversal threat is attacking them. Imagine the rumors are true that other villains will join the multiversal conflict like doom, king thanos, etc. And, if the rumor about dr strange three adapting the time runs out storyline is true, you could also show a version of the illuminati being in battle with the black priests as well.

I don’t get why you’re treating it like it’s a big revelation or a major change in plans when it seems like they have been planning an Avengers Vs. X-Men incursion story from the Marvels post credit sequence. If there’s a change it might be more an issue of branding as opposed to a change he in story direction.

And a rebooted avengers universe( a universe where rdj and Chris evans are iron man and cap but than characters like hulk and tchalla are played by new actors)
Secret wars merges these 4 earths together and than the timeline is reset with these merged earths. So now we’re in a universe where characters like Spider-Man, iron man, captain America, Thor, daredevil, dr strange, Sam Wilson cap are still played by the same actors but different actors are playing hulk tchalla wolverine and the x-men etc
If they make Avengers VS x men, I will not watch the movie if they don't reboot from back to phrase 1 for the Avengers. They need to get dismissed right

At the time, the sacking of Johnathan Majors seemed like devastating blow to the MCU but now i think it was a blessing in disguise. It gave Marvel and Feige time to realise that they were on the wrong path and the Xmen and F4 crossovers should happen right away.

The MCU will not change.. The MCU can't have 20 years of the ACTORS that play the characters... It is perfect though because we already have three people playing Spiderman... The Young Avengers will play a major role over the next few years... The XMen expands even more because there are 10s of good and bad mutants and so many great stories from the Golden Age, they won't run out of characters...
Whoever plays the "main villain" in Avengers 5 and\or 6 will probably not fare well...
But maybe they will go more towards the Raft from CAPTAIN AMERICA and maybe even expand the Negative Zone (to not kill villains) for a prison with the intro of the Fantastic Four... #DisneyvHollywood

X-men vs avengers doesn’t sound good to me. I love both but think about it. It’s the current avengers vs the X-men whom we don’t know who all it’s gonna be. There won’t be iron man or captain America. And we don’t know which actors or characters are gonna be the X-men. If they brought back Robert Downey jrs iron man and Chris evans captain America and had Hugh jackmans wolverine then sign me up for this movie and I’d love to see it but I doubt that’ll happen and the current avengers are (nerd hulk, nerfed Thor, a bunch of young avengers like Ms.marvel and all them which I’m not a fan of) like it won’t be the og avengers from avengers 1. Which is why the movie won’t be as good. Don’t get me wrong, the movie could still be good but it won’t hit as hard as og avengers vs a good X-men cast
It’s always funny how you always talk about stuff that’s coming years from now and never talk about current day and what’s coming in the next couple months or a year it’s always a few years in the future. Being a marvel fan has become believing speculation for stuff that might happen years from now always thinking in the future and ignoring how much the mcu sucks now
