Delicious. Delectable. My shallow thought about the abominable mic placement / selection of a nondirectional system--whatever was the problem; Maestro Ben Paterson could hear the ...scallywags... talking and--in that millisecond of realizing THEY didn't realize what splendidness was a mere few feet from their flapping traps--he simply dialed up--with a smidge pinache here, a dash nuance there--the rich work of art he created for us. For those listening, that is. And that ending !!! mmmmmmmmmMMGHH--'worthy of what came before. /s/ Listening in Malibu for the 3rd, 4th, 5th time.
please dont disrespect the grest oscar peterson.this is not better than the original and for what reason ? because he could only play it with one hand? that was not very nice of you to say that....this guy could only dream of being half as great as oscar.
Not even BEN would make such a statement as silly as this version being better than Mr. Peterson’s original. I understand that Ben is playing it in more of a Ragtime-Eunice Blake style than Oscars original gut-wrenching, emotional, heavenly style. I commend Ben for doing it his way, but Ben knows which version is the masterpiece.
love this so much....make me cry..i dont know why. Very touching performance
unreal how heart felt that was/...
This is sooooo beautiful and dreamy! Thank you so much.

In this case, the copy is far better than the original. Stunning. An incredible performance.
