Do you collect Lorcana and if so, what's your favorite card you own?
My favorite i have is a legendary sisu cold foil
@@WardieDawg That's an awesome card!
In my very first pack i ever opened, i got legendary stitch careless surfer in foil. It is such a cool card to look at. I will never sell it even tough i could get a lot for it
Hello, im still very new to lorcana. Is cold foil the regular foil or are there different types of foil?@@WardieDawg
@@philipphe6268 what a way to start the collection out with!
🎉🎉 thumbs up 👍🏼 very cool brother
Thank you!
People pay a lot they think they can get the cards first send them of for grading and be first to market when it comes to selling psa 10 if you can do that making money is easy problem is the cards take a dive in price before you get them back from psa so my guess is this will not keep happening once the ones doing it smarten up they will stop
Yeah, you would have to pay top dollar for the 2 week turnaround to get a card graded that fast. And even then, it's a big risk.
This is a great video into collecting lorcana. its not always cheap but it is worth it
Thank you! I'm glad you think so.
Yes - my first TCG that i have collected and have spent a fortune whilst making all of the usual rookie mistakes!
One good thing though is that enchanteds have dropped alot so i finally managed to buy Mickey Wayward Sorcerer enchanted from set one. I had wanted that since last September. I think that now I have that card and also feeling burnt out with Lorcs that I might stop collecting from now on.
Hey, nothing wrong with that. Sometimes you get your chase and call it a day. Hopefully they have another card that gets you back in soon. :)
Enchanteds going lower = stabilizing AND pro players Selling enchanteds to buy more of the cards they need...
I saw a dude playing competitively Lorcana coming from Magic. He sold 6 enchanted in 2024 alone, not counting 2023's season. He finances his meta decks this way. So don't understimate those selling now for cheap to compete. Those will hike price cuz afterwards the others won't be into selling them.
I absolutely agree, it's stabilizing. I'm all for it too.
Nice perspective!
Thank you!!
I see alot of Lorcana just rotting on the shelves right now at retail. It feels like it started with into the Inklands. Ever since its kind of slowed down with ppl buying.
@jonathanlupfer5262 consider yourself lucky! It flies off the shelf here, especially with set championships happening. Our local Lorcana group has expanded tremendously too.
@@RensCollectibles Depends upon where you live I guess. I live in the midwest, so longer lasting legacy card games are flying off the shelves faster than Lorcana.
@@jonathanlupfer5262 same here, Midwest. But I live pretty close to Detroit, so much bigger city feel.
@@RensCollectibles I live in Taylor, lmao
@@jonathanlupfer5262 we live very close then lmao
good video i love collecting lorcana
I'm glad you liked it!
I feel like it is hard to maintain collecting alongside other tcgs but it’s still fairly new too so I guess as it grows and becomes more of mainstay then it could become easier on the pulls and ability to find product and stuff so aftermarket prices come down too
Very good point. With the Disney IP, I could see it becoming compatible to Pokemon in a few years.
@@RensCollectibles yeah I think as the game grows and the word is spread, the pull rates even out where the cards become more reasonable in price. Were already seeing the products coming down a decent bit
@@AGrumpyCharizard yep, it's stabilizing a bit now. They had to see how it was going to go with the first two sets.
Love the content man!
I appreciate that!
Well... just had once again big luck in a Starter Deck booster pack.
Inside my first chapter Moana/Mickey Amber-Amethyst started box the pack contained a MAUi(5) !!!
That is added value! Those are often boosted in luck from what I've experience, noting every pack opening and source.
That makes it very much worth it!
Lorcana has gone up, but the thing is not many of these cards were these prices. It depends on when you started. Elsa on release was $300, and a fishbone quil was .25. Now it's $10.
Yep, as we get more cards in every set, different cards will go up and down in value.
