They did get a restock of floodborn for set championships. I spoke to two LGS. It was smaller than the first chapter and Inklands also restocked at that same time.
i love listening to your market watch lorcana news.. You always have a future perspective and insight to see the possible health and success of Lorcana. I think it's just gonna get more popular over time. it seems like they were true to their word and did make it available to meet demand. I don't really see a 1st or 2nd chapter reprint from here. Seems like their sights are ahead. The reason I stopped buying sealed.. even if boxes do go up over time, is that most people don't account for the work of selling. fees, taxes, listing, time, work, energy, shipping, and having to sit at least 2+ years having money tied up to see a return and enough margins once each chapter is dried up. basically you need a lot of capital and patience. Also why buy a case when you can pay about the same to just buy an elsa enchanted for example. like u mentioned, pulling enchanteds is just very low odds, esp the specific ones you're after. This is good for the hobby as it keeps collectors interested and enchanteds can retain their values over time. I try to resell sealed and i'm lucky if I break even. More time needs to pass. It seems more people are categorized as a collector or collector/player, more than investor/reseller. I fall under all three categories and it's a lot of money with each new set that comes out. no doubt chapter 1 will rise within the next year, but most people within my circles and community don't have a lot of extra money rn to invest and buy and are tight on cash. Not to mention they're spending their money on dozens of other things. I believe in lorcana, and play at a few LGS two-three times a week, especially with pixelborne gone. From what I hear chapter 5 will be really good. It seems Lorcana has what it takes to pump out and distrubute several sets every year and the demand is there. When I do vending, almost 90% are after pkmn cards more than anything. Magic, yugioh, one piece still popular as well. I do think more folks will get into Lorcana over time once they realize how fun it is. It really is well made, and the card game is really making the TCG shine. I just sent majority of my enchanteds off to CGC. Lot of collectible cards, not to mention the tournament prize cards. there's definitely always going to be a market lorcana even if it all suddenly ended. The biggest thing is their IP, cuz people of all ages love disney. im actually surprised more people aren't into it by now. In conclusion, great Lorcana market watch content, keep it up!
Thank you very much for your feedback and I agree with a ton of what you said. I think the sealed is just TYPICALLY the safest and the least amount of work, however is often times does require the most patience.
I love the idea of a new tcg and especially one with the power of Disney behind it but I’m still hesitant because I went heavy heavy into metazoo only to get burned. Kept all my metazoo on the off chance it bounces back back I’m not hopeful
I am sorry to hear that jcat and I completely understand the reservation. There is a significant difference in the value of using the most valuable and recognizable IP in the world like Disney, and creating something out of thin air like Metazoo to help back a TCG. I am a firm believer in Lorcana, but I can't see the future. If you decide to jump on the bandwagon with us, we welcome you with open arms!
Great content bud! Im surprised the price on first chapter is kinda staying around that $230-$240 mark! Ppl keep buying, so you would think the supply would be running out by now! But anyway, I sent you an email with another first chapter question I hope you can help me with! Take care!
Have you seen how people sell Lorcana on whatnot. They have different games that they rip through 100s of packs a day and more people play when they hear there are chapter 1 packs, just for a chance for the Elsa enchanted or some other enchanted or promo.
I personally do not use Whatnot, but I know its a huge part of the hobby right now. The same thing is done on Tik Tok and other streaming platforms, so much demand out there for box breaks and rip/ship.
Lorcana needs to do something better with enchanteds for shimmering skies. Hoping they do it. The collector in me is ready for something different than the surge foil type pattern. They need to compete head on with Pokemon and right now they’re pretty far behind. Foil patterns like we’re seeing on dragon fire rapunzel let it go etc would be a good start

Loving the chase - but it's damn hard to catch em all :)
You ain't lying Rod!
@@CardboardKingdom I've decided to chase all Enchanted and CF Legendary only :) the rest I'm selling to fund the chase
@@rodmcgrath2503 Love that, everyone has unique goals!

@@CardboardKingdom haha I think I will be but I spend too much on Pokémon so I might just buy a couple booster boxes of each release and go from there
@@jcat719 that’s a great way to start!

Hard agree here, let’s get creative with the foils! I like what they did with deep trouble alt arts, would like to see some new chases.
What is the market price for first print booster boxes?
I think around $500, but I strongly recommend not purchasing those boxes.
1 chapter will get to 1000 usd and then will come back to 500 usd.
I don't know if it will drop that much once hits $1,000 unless there is another reprint, a 50% retrace is pretty steep.
25-30 years this box will be about $30k-50k is my bet.
Bahahaha absolutely not but I’ll keep dreaming
Seems a little optimistic Monkey, but I hope your right!
