@@wanjanechtangroeger I've seen it on DeviantArt. The bigger walker is actually supposed to be in upgrade of the AT-AT. I think I remember the description said it had like a heavy turbo laser alongside its standard laser compliment and it had more legs to avoid being tripped up by snowspeeders
+Laurence Reeves Oh, sorry. Didn't know that. The thing is that officialy, in EaW, they can't shoot ground eather, unless they face down the cliff, or have lower position than enemies. That was never ment to happen.
+Honest Happy Hater I forgot to mention, that if one of theese conditions is fulfiled, AT-AA will treat ground units as aircrafts simply because they are higher.
For all the people asking about the AT-ACT (Rogue One walker) There's no information for it, all known information is literally just the name. Nothing else.
I modified some AT-TE to cover the main weaknesses, now the main gunner in this models is protected by an armored cophit than has a door on the right side, equipt with advance sensors to detect target from all angles, I also added more armor at the front part, to make it harder for attacking that spot, as well as adding armor at the legs and underbelly, but the most important upgrade was in the main gun, now it can destroy AT-ATs by even target the upper body on the walker, and they, individually, can destroy every imperial vehicle that isn't a Juggernaut outside of the B5, and even then, it can cause a lot of damage
I have read it in a Star Wars versus book that Royal Gaurds win. Royal Gaurds were selected from the best of the best stromtroopers and were given intense training in a exotic and deadly Marshall art for yrs. While Magna Gaurds were just droids to happen to have a electro staff
Any one else watched this late at night cause I couldn't sleep but before then video ended I had passed out. This was more effective then counting sheep. So thanks for the video.
Fact Free sad part is I was sitting out side waiting for my dog to do his business.. Started watching UA-cam to try to keep myself awake. Actually I'm still out side. And its 6 degrees out here. HURRY UP YOU DAMN DOG!! All the spots are exactly the same.
Behemous so, like the modified cargo transport versions of the AT-TEs that the Empire used, just with an AT-AT as the starting point? I actually can see that totally working, because not all landforms would allow the shorter and stumpier AT-TE versions to move effectively through them, plus I bet that by that point AT-AT replacement parts were much more common than AT-TE replacement parts when something eventually broke...
At-rt riders had the most deaths in the animated series of clone wars. You were always seeing them being cut down bye machine gun fire or sniper fire. So depressing
AT-AHT existed like at around 120 ABY or so; by that time, the First Galactic Empire has been long gone including its successor state Imperial Remnant which, however, had gradually transformed over several decades into the Fel Empire (those were already the "good guys", though) from the aforementioned era. +Lich King
I know this is a video made in 2016, so here is some more types. The First Order used AT-MT walkers which carried heavy weapons. They could deal more damage and was taller than the standard AT-AT walker. They also used a different kind of AT-ST but kept the same name.
I honestly had completely missed the walker that the First Order had used until you showed those screenshots there in the video. I need to go back, rewatch the movie, and look for them when I get to that scene again...
there is a new at walker, the AT-ACT (all terrain armoured cargo transport (featured in upcoming film rouge one)) was a cargo transport a tiny bit lager then the AT-AT, they had an extensive cargo back for heavy cargo, and are most likely to be seen in construction areas, such as forts, research labs, land hangers, repair bays, strongholds, garrisons, transportation hangers and outposts, and in any large 'experimental' base.
The AT-ACT or the all terrain armored cargo transport was primary used to transport cargo. They had low armor with huge blasters on the front. The AT-ACT had weak spots including the neck the cargo it holds the underbelly and the legs.
1:45 "mainly used for reconnaissance" Anakin Skywalker during the battle of Umbara: "that cool and all, but how about we just spam the fuck out of them and have them charge at an entrenched enemy?"
4:52 , the AT-EDs weren't the only automated Transport of the AT series, I forget which kind but one of the smaller AT's in Star wars Allegiance, (hopefully that was the books name) was used in an automated fashion...
There are numerous more AT walker types. These include At-LC, Which is an AT-AT with a Laser cannon on the back of it. Then there is the AT-IC, Which is the same thing, but with an Ion Cannon instead of a laser cannon. There is even an AT-AT that is levitating. Then you have AT-HEs which are heavier variants of the AT-TEs with 4 legs instead of 6. Last one I know of is an AT-HT, but lack info on it. Theres a big mod for Star Wars Empire At War called Alliances, and it adds pretty much all these walkers, as well as all the star destroyers and star dreadnoughts you listed.
A lot of these seem redundant, but for military vehicles I make an exception. If you've ever researched vehicles of the Second World War you know that a lot of rare, limited production, ad-hoc, or simply redundant vehicles were created and fielded throughout the course of Research and Development and throughout the course of the war.
I would like to see a comparison between the ARC-170 Starfighter used by the Republic Navy during the Clone Wars and the X-Wing Starfighter used by the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War! Much like the one between the Imperial Class Star Destroyer and the Venator Class Star Destroyer!

I haven't looked through all 1,137 comments, but since you covered the EU stuff you missed on Walker. The AT-MT. All-Terrain Mountain Transport. It had an ant like insect body design, and because of it's unique leg designs it wasn't vulnerable to the same problems the AT-AT and the AT-ST faced of knocking out the legs.
My biggest problem with the Star Wars walkers is that most variants were extremely slow. Mobility is 101 in warfare; the moving target is harder to hit. If anybody had any very quick, but powerful armored units they could simply blitzkrieg straight through those walkers. The closest I've seen to this is the Hailfire-Class Droid Tanks and those were just dumb droids who seemed of having no concept of turning or avoiding attacks. The Separatist AAT-1 could of been beast if it had just midway speed.
People will probably complain that it's "copying Empire" if this happens, but I really hope we get a battle with the First Order equivalent to the ATAT in The Last Jedi.
This man can take a test on the entire Star Wars EU and pass with 100%

What's you favorite All Terrain Walker? For me the AT TEs, AT ATs, and AT STs are in my top 3.
are AT XTs canon? they seem really cool.
also, I think the next video will be all CIS vehicle types.
You play star wars commander?

Know this one isn't cannon, but I like the AT-SP (All Terrain Siege Platform) with six legs, shields, and weapons for days.

The At-Xts were also equipped with deflector shields as well
What about the AD-HD's

AT-AA were capable of destroying ground units in SW:EaW RTS game (their first apperance).
