Thank You Rickey for bringing Mo'Nique. Mo'Nique knew her worth she's so freaking funny. I am so proud of her. Congratulations on your Las Vegas residency ❤️❤️👏🏾👏🏾
Hmmmm watch Netflix knocking at her door real soon 🍵 ijs . But I hope she's says No when they do (I know that wouldn't be a smart business move) but sometimes you have to let people know what's up.
She is not moved by anyone's opinion of her. I appreciate that about her. She stood in her truth and still being called on for work we love her for. I'd love to go you in Vegas
Her spirit is just so contagious. She did a show in MKE a few years back she hugged my aunt and my aunt started crying (we dont know why) but Mo nique said I'll keep hugging you until you let me go. And I'll never forget that. #TeamMo 😍
This interview really warmed my heart. You can tell that Rickey smiley, Monique and others are still genuine in the game. I swear. I’m so proud of you Rickey. Black is definitely a force to be reckoned with.
@Julia Mimi now you're bugging that's not all she's known for she just had one of those women that's going to let the industry walk all over her is exactly what Katt Williams said they look over the real people out here putting in real grind and they just give other people a simple walk in she's not known for being insane she known for speaking her peace and clearly her blessings are continuing to come
Love how all yall was mean af to her about netflix and now her biggest fan...maan please Mo is my favorite has always been my favorite black female comedian and actress. She rep for the big girls. Her talk show was awesome too.
@@sedricbell7057 RIGHT!!!! I'm like where was all this support when she was speaking about Netflix and Tyler and Oprah I stood by her then and still do I just find it so ironic how now people praising her after all the hate that was given to her for standing up for herself. people afraid to speak out because it's Lee,Tyler, Oprah and Netflix? she deserved to speak her peace and how she felt she was treated and every body was advising her to shut up and I'm so glad she didn't let anyone intimidate her! people saying her career was over and now she got a show in Vegas!!! Now THIS is the Mo'Nique that I love to see and hear from! Last year this time it was the Netflix boycott and whatnot, but THIS is what I've been missing from Nikki Parker lol I hope 2019 goes well for her! They're right because the 90s was WAY different in terms of comedy compared to how it is now. That was back when comedy was about being funny and quality rather than people looking for the fast route to money and are willing to be more flashy than funny. As for Tiffany Haddish, everyone bombs and that is NOT a lie! However, I think the reason a lot of people are going off on her is because of what Katt Williams said in that radio interview...I wanna say last September? Not to mention the amount of people who already don't like her because "she's not funny." I think what really doesn't help the situation is that we haven't seen a couple or a few comedy specials from Tiffany to show the viewers that she has the skill to pull off a live show like that. For this New Years event to be one of the first times people hear about her even being on stage like that and BOMB...that's why I think it's getting so much traction.

Every other group in this country gets to be angry in response to their trauma and not have that anger translated as negativity or they get to be "negative" and not have their negativity translated as anger. Think white anger and September 11. Think Jewish Anger in the recent synagogue shooting. Think Hispanic anger in the immigration. Think white women anger in the #metoo movement. Think white gay anger in gay rights movement against homophobia. Everyone else's anger and negativity is justified. Not us. Everyone gets the freedom to be angry and negative about their trauma except black Americans (ADOS). Anger and negativity is a natural byproduct and consequence of 400 years of racial oppression, slavery, and Jim Crow. To be anything else is to be supernatural or breathtakingly unconscious.
