    That's pretty cool that AllPowers puts a sticker on the unit now as to what button to press... ours never had that, and the manual clearly stated a different button! As far as overheating and the other issues go, hopefully our video actually made an impact and they made some software updates, because we had multiple units perform the same way.. with clear proof on our end of the low voltage and overheating, which was disappointing. BUT cool to see them learning from their mistakes and making improvements, hats off to AllPowers for that⚡and Great video!

      Thanks man. I was trying to not throw y'all under the bus or anything. we're all on the same team and want these companies to produce high quality and dependable items. Do you still have your units? When i connected to the app, it said "V2". I'm curious if yours is V1 and they fixed the issues. If that's the case, AllPowers should have admitted that they put out bad units and advertised these as fixed units. It does them no good to swap it out and not say anything. Maybe we could open ours up together and show the difference at some point.

    Hey my friend. I have the S1500, S2000 and the R1800 Allpowers power stations and have had no issues with any of them. I bought the R1800 back in December 2023 and it has been working just fine. I think I watched the UA-camr video that you were referring to and even to me, not being a tech, realized that he didn't know what he was doing in his review. Watching him not being able to start the Bluetooth or the Wifi and then stating you couldn't charge this unit at the claimed 1500 watts made me laugh. To me, it was apparent that he just didn't take the time to read the manual throughly. One more observation, most UA-camrs when they find something that doesn't work as stated usually say that they will contact the manufacturer to see what may be the problem and get back to us. He didn't. Your information on your video is accurate, so relax, you did a good honest review. Take care.

      I appreciate the feedback and the support! Glad you got good results with yours! As for the other Channel, I do believe they said they tried reaching out to support. To me, they got a bad unit with the R1500 so they didn’t even try with the R2500. I just hate that over 12K people have heard that this company is a fraud when that’s not the case. Many of us have had great experiences with AllPowers equipment. Thanks again!

    I haven't watched the other video you referenced but I did review this same power station 10 months ago.
    I know with mine I saw 110v when the battery was low, don't recall if it showed the same when full. They might have resolved that in later updates.
    The WiFi/bluetooth control is a little annoying that you have to turn it on each time you turn on the power station. It should remember it's last state.
    I don't remember any overload issues.
    All in all, it has it's "quirks" but none of them would be "show stoppers".

      I have the 400 watt solar panel by Allpowers and it works great. I live in Northern Alberta and during camping season I get up to 375 watt out of it. Be aware that it's a beast. By that I mean it is heavy, 46 lbs but it is manageable to setup and move around. I'm nearing 70 years and 155 lbs male and I can move it around. Hope this helps.

      That’s good insight, @pkarowic. They are quite large. I have both the 400 watt and the 200 watt (much easier to move and setup) AllPowers panels. I like them a lot. Great build quality and have worked well. I don’t have a lot to compare them to so I can’t say if they are the best or anything. I do like them though. Hope this helps.

    I’m on my third R3500 replaced under warranty. Every day it alarms. I have taken videos each time it alarms. My main issue is the capacity which is about 60% less than advertised. For example with a 23w AC load it lasts less than 24hrs. Consider it’s supposed to have a 3168wh. Once the cyclone season is over I’ll be sending it back.

    • @EastTexasHomestead
      @EastTexasHomestead  Місяць тому +1

      That's a bummer, and I'm sure super disappointing that it alarms. To bring a little clarity to the capacity issue, be sure you are taking the standby usage into account. If the inverter is using 100w just to be on (Not good, but possible), your load isn't 23w but rather 123w. Over 24 hours, that is just shy of 3000Wh. I don't think you have a capacity issue. I think you have an efficiency issue. If you turn on the Inverter and just let it sit for 36 hours, it will probably be dead. That's how these things work. My question is what are you trying to power at 23 watts? Can you run it on DC and keep the inverter off? This will drastically increase your battery lifespan.

    • @AnthonySheehan
      @AnthonySheehan Місяць тому

      @@EastTexasHomestead Thanks for your reply. I wasn't aware that the inverter could draw 100w on it's own. That's a fair chunk of energy. At the time I was using the R3500 as a UPS for my PC, printer and desk lamp using 23W. Using it as a UPS also provides me an opportunity to monitor the daily alarms and video document each alarm as it occurs. Today I have the kitchen fridge, Starlink, laptop, printer and desk lamp connected as the power is out for local area maintenance. When the fridge compressor is running I'm pulling 221w plus inverter draw. When the fidge is in an idle state i'm drawing about 197w plus inverter draw. Giving me about 11h6min remaining. I started at 100% and have been running for just over an hour. Currently 97% or 11h6min remaining.

    There is two versions of this unit. One that outputs 110v and 120v. The older versions only output 110v. If there is a tag near the dc on button that says press here for for Bluetooth then its 120v version. If there is no tag then its 110v version. All his claims were wrong except for 110v as he tested older version which only has 110v output. That version was made to be used in Japan and the US. Japan has 100v and US has 120v so they tried to sell in both markets and use 110V.

    I understand that people love to save money. But you have to understand that these units based on my research are a cool toy for an average user that needs it , but to buy this brand and expect to be reliable and relying on it is pure madness. Imagine if this thing overheats or gets bad while unattended somewhere what could happen with those batteries in it and inverter running . Clearly if you get good unit or a bad unit is like a roulette , whatever manufacturer will replace it is also 50/50% and in a situation where you really need this unit to work and your fridge or warmth or your comfort / safety will depend on it and suddenly let’s say it shuts off or battery goes from 60 to 0% and you really need either charge your car battery , or keep warm and lights up with that fridge .. or some quirk happen and it stops charging. I really get it you want to save as all of us , and UA-cam channels are excited because you’ll get the unit for free and some side money and you have your bills to pay and established brands doesn’t seem to bother to sponsor you . Buy it , but as a toy to play with , for the love of god don’t depend on such a subpar quality items . My friends bought something similar and needed to charge his car in -20c and the thing decided to stop working under load , leaving him stranded. With heated blanket without power . The pecron is the least I would go , ideally ecoflow . This thing might be good if you need power for some equipment or something and if anything happens it’s not a big deal and you will try to replace it or buy something else in the future . But don’t rely on it in a crisis. I’m actually European few kilometres from the borders with Ukraine so mark my words. Another experience ive heard is a person that did his research based on few UA-cam videos with Chinese low budget station for his air support machine next to his bed and the thing stopped working half way thru battery. But I appreciate mentioning sponsorship, wishing best of luck. Just saying 50% claiming their unit works well 50% had either initial or later problems , so you are playing a roulette here

      Thanks for the long and detailed comment. I remember anxiously waiting for the "big brand" reviews to come in a few years ago and being disappointed that they all had issues. UA-cam is full of bad reviews on these brands. But people don't seem to remember that or weren't in the space during that time. Even EG4 (which is my all-time favorite brand) had a terrible start. I documented issues on my channel. Other people had many of the same problems and more. They took the feedback and have continued to make things better, and now they're one of the best. And they have excellent prices. AllPowers appears to be fixing issues and working with people who have problems. Yes, they have and will continue to have problems, just like the big brands. Thanks again for your input.

    • @soldier9927
      @soldier9927 Місяць тому

      @@EastTexasHomestead sure thats true Im not aware of brands history. But why do you think Allpowers is priced that much lower ? In my eyes, because of those issues we've mentioned. So if you are saying they will get better eventually, doesn't it mean they will also get more expensive and thus on the same price range of a established brands ? they are cheaper , because you know what you getting into, so there's your saving. If they catch all the problems, they will incesre price as well, that's only logical. BTW from what I've heard many people have issues with humidity and these devices, Ive heard about 10 to 20 units failed within 6 months of Bluetti died , being used without rain or snow just with humidity around the house or car. This 1500 Allpowers unit is here in Europe around 650 euro, ecoflow Delta 2 is 850 euro and pecron large unit with almost twice as battery is 860 euro. So all powers doesn't really have much of a space to move price up without competing . Maybe its different in your region
