Wow. Praise God Thank Jesus. I'm also born Hindu, like you testified I also came to Christ after I was at rock bottom anxiety, ocd and what not and suicide attempts. I did go to temples and what not. I concluded nothing helps And then suddenly Christ came, I got his physical experience and miracles. And here I am now delivered from torment of 2 years(2021 to 2023) and having experience of the Holy Spirit. I remember having a discussion with the Holy Spirit, we discussed the same, relationships first and Gospel. You can't give truth to someone who doesn't trust you and is not thirsty.

Hinduism is a beautiful way of life ,everything is explained so well in the scriptures and everyone has their own path to follow I this life so why should we try to change anyone, instead make people better in what path they are following
That’s exactly what I am trying to do - make them better while they are in their religion. The whole point is that Hinduism is based on science and myths. All I am saying is to replace mythology with the truth of God. Vedas prophesied the sacrifice of a savior. They called him the purusha/ prajapati. Because no amount of temple offerings and good deeds will be enough to make us clean enough to live with God in eternal peace. Only Jesus Christ has the power to make us clean again
As a non converted Hindu,
Christian religion inherited the Semitic creed of the ‘jealous God’ in the view of Christ as ‘the only begotten son of God’ so could not brook any rival near the throne. In spite of its own broad humanism, it accepted the fierce intolerance which is the natural result of this belief. Hinduism does not accept intolerance as it coveys possessiveness of the divine that is expressed differently and such possessiveness leads to judgment of others.
That’s one view that you know. But unfortunately it’s twisted in such a way that you won’t understand its true meaning. God is NOT a jealous God. He is NOT possessive. There is NO word in English to describe that adjective. The closest meaning I can use is LOVE. Infinite times more love than what your father loves you or what you love your child. Do you say you are jealous for your child? Do you say you are possessive of your child? I doubt you say those even though they are true. But you would say you love your child…

In simpler words, this verse means that some people like you have become so insensitive and closed off to the teachings of God, the Creator of the Universe. They don't really listen or try to understand. If they did, they could change their ways and be spiritually healed. It's a reminder to be open-hearted and receptive to spiritual messages.

I am a born again christian living in india, i was feeling like I am not doing my job for evangelising in the streets I want to save souls but how can I if i am in a hindu country where most these people have no self control and will probably mob against me or try beat me to death real quick way to Jesus and I dont think he wants me to go do that

Lord Krishna explains clearly about Karma and it goes with even the known law of Physics that came 5000 years after Hindus had coined it. Its as simples as this - For every action in nature there is an equal and opposite reaction. Even Jesus could not escape Karma. If he could he would not have gone through suffering. God is omnipresent and omnipotent. If he wanted to teach us something he would be able to appear to each of us and send his message across. He doesnt need an uneducated lowly shepherd to suffer and die for him. Its an insult to gods own powers. You would think christians should come up with a better story. Seeing that the birth of a virgin is a retelling of a story recycled by other cultures that predate Christianity.

You are absolutely right!!! I am not sure about your last sentence though. If you can rephrase or something, I can say “you have nailed it.” So, is getting right with God - believing in Jesus’ sacrifice for you or doing good works? I am asking because doing good works without knowing if it’s the will of God or not, can still put you in a lot of trouble later as you didn’t take care of the sin aspect of your life. In other words, if you reject the cover, there is no sacrifice left for you anymore.

Most people would say that they are blindly following their leaders/ ancestors who told them that it is good for health. I am not even denying that. There may be certain health benefits. But yoga is done to prepare the body for Eastern transcendental meditation. They do that thinking that they will achieve enlightenment if they do it and they will be able to access the metaphysical realm which leads to a very dangerous outcome. Anyway, enlightenment (for most people) is nothing but having the realization that they came from the universe and will go back to the universe ultimately. Now, tell me - where is God or finding God in the whole process? They believe that the Universe, itself is God. They believe that their conscience is God. Yes i did yoga myself for several years actually... what i did different though, was that i did it incorrectly. Meaning i only used and app, an western app. And i never visited a guru.
I always prayed the lords prayer and i visualized a cross ✝️.
I did get quite a fantastic experience and feeling at some point (and no i do not believe for one second that it was demonic and don't tell me it was please) however i eventually stopped anyway, both because i could not replicate the feeling and sensation again. But also just because it started feeling wrong the more i looked into Christianity again. I found another way.
I think its the greatest way. I do something called range of motion training, also on an app. Its kind of a mix of functional training and rehab and balance tranining. Its not the same as yoga at all, but it has kind of similar benefits in a sense. And then i just pray the apostles creed and the lords prayer and the jesus prayer before and after, while i listen to worship music (soaking in his presence) and that just feels much more right. Because yes as you say , yoga asanas has some benefits and is not inherently evil or harmful, but you still have to be very careful because it leads to meditation which is very un Christian and is not about God. And also some of the asanas i don't like. They're just too hindu for me. For example Hanuman the monkey God pose which is a weird pose, which you also don't really need. There's other good poses.
However! Christians must not be so afraid of Yoga that they deem all stretching bad!! Thats a foolish thing to do. Its not all poses and stretches that is harmful or inherently hindu, just because they're in yoga! For example the simple kneeling hip stretch, virtually all experts use nowadays ! Its a very beneficial stretch for the hips especially as you get older and there's just not other way to hit the front of the hips.
In reality i actually think that we can learn things from each other! The Hindus and the Christians. Hindus may have come first, and may know a thing or 2 about keeping the body healthy. And we should learn from that. But we know a thing or 2 about Jesus and they should learn from that.....
We can take some things from the pure simple asanas. To better our health. Actually we have to, since there's just no other way. But we must not do a real yoga routine as such.

God/Paramatma/Brahman/Shiva/Vishnu is not fully knowable by human beings. Christian, Islamic and the Abrahamic theology insists or claim that they know the full nature of this divine entity as it is described in their holy scriptures. This position leads to a situation where in they claim that they know that their way is the right way. This is borne out ignorance and leads to Arrogance. It is precisely this position that leads to religious wars. European reformation wars lead to the death of over 20 million people and paved way to even larger wars in Europe the first and the second world wars, though not entirely due to religious nature. The conquest of Americas, Australia, New Zealand, imposition of Christianity on these land masses resulted in the wiping out of indigenous people and their religions and cultures and way of life. These are all evil acts, the result of their beliefs that their way is the only way. It is estimated over 50 million indigenous Americans were killed during the colonization of Americas. Large scale slavery of Africans by European Christians and killing buddhists in Vietnam wars are all a natural consequence of this theology.
Krishna in Bhagavad Gita teaches a more mature philosophy. He says that no matter which name or form is used in the prayer, it is he who receives the prayers and bestows benedictions on people. He preaches multiple ways to reach God, which is more mature and tolerant. A tribal in South America, or Africa or a villager in India can pray to their local deity and still receive the grace of Gods and there are multiple ways of these prayers.
Christians use coercive methods, bribery, trickery and other methods when full scale violence is no longer possible. In many ways they violate teaching s of Jesus Christ himself. So, Christianity is a political ideology that uses theology for conquest and subjugation and elimination of other people. The same can be said about Islam. Many of the assertions in the Bible and Quran have been proven to be false and yet this attempt to convert everyone to these religions continues. Idea of these people is to disconnect you from your roots and lose pride in who you are.
Surely a more mature philosophy would be to say that God/Paramatma/Brahman/Shiva/Vishnu is not fully knowable by human beings, and pursue this study, investigation, endeavor to know the divine entity with an open mind, which is more inclusive and mature rather than insist my way the only way and everyone should follow my way..

Your father wants the best for you. There can be no other human apart from your father who can love you like him (unless he is a crook). He wants you to look at him alone and model him. He doesn’t want to make you an inferior human than him by letting you learn from other immature human beings. The same is the case with God. There is no proper word in English to describe that affection. Unfortunately, jealous is being used there.

Next, God gave free will to us so that we may choose to love and worship him without any external force or influence of any kind.
