I've played with one of these IF25A's (Xmas gift for Father-In-Law and I set temps on it) and it is a really nice flashlight for the money! It does get hot faster than any light I've ever seen though so keep that in mind. I also have an IF25 (non A) and although it's not as bright as the "A" version, the truly usable light it puts out is the same, as it doesn't run as hot as the "A" and once the "A" ramps down you're looking at the same brightness. That said, I really like the ANDURIL OS on the "A." Speaking of Sofirns, my SP36 PRO came in today. I'm in love with it. Best way to describe it is a larger IF25A that puts out twice the lumens, and takes twice as long to start ramping down from Turbo. Unless you just have to have a very small light like the IF series, I'd go with the SP 36 PRO considering it's $20 price difference. I look forward to seeing Flashaholic do one of his EXCELLENT reviews on it!

I wonder how it compares to sp33 v3.
A clip to put on your peak hat would of been a hudge bonus
Hallo.I dont have this model yet-please,do you think, that it could be possible to reflow the original leds with xhp50 ? Is there enough space? Thanks a lot:)
Maybe for mule use
Question mine doesn’t change the indicator switch light with the seven press. Any ideas? Also great video really well done, thank you
Is yours the Anduril II version?
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV yeah. I figd it out. Instructions leave a lot out… still trying to fig out how you tell when it needs to charge…. doesn’t seem like there’s anything to tell you
Could a shortcut be configured to go easily into tactical strobe mode?
Yes. Turn the light iff in strobe and tap 5 times from off. Only strobe works then.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV, a shorter (customisable?) route would have been better if one is to use it for defense. 5 clicks is what I read in the manual, too. Let us see that how this one holds as 5 clicks will take their toll on the button. Let us hope that the button is replaceable and that too by the user. I will get it delivered to India via USA as our country has blocked all imports from China.
I chose this over Olights and Nitecore and that Fenix based on your review. Thanks a tonne!
What Kind of Musik is this? It's pretty relaxing.
Skyrim ost
Thank you 🙌🏻
You measured 3870 lumens with sofirn battery on turbomode ?
Does it have a current stabilization, so is it able to keep brightness on the same level during battery discharging?
Nope.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV I'd like to buy this torch and I'm interested to know how it keeps brightness in time. Could you please share your experience?
Anyone else have issues with theirs overheating from the factory setting? Mine goes over 60 and the sofirn cs rep claims the factory should max out at 40
Amazing review! Which one would you recommend? If25A 4000k or IF25?
IF25 for me. I love the tint ramping and UI anyone can use
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV thank you. Im buying one now!
My IF25A won’t go into muggle mode with the 6 clicks. Do I need to be in simple UI for that to work? I’m confused
Anduril 2 doesn't have Muggle mode
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV oh haha well I’m dumb! Thanks mate 🤣
I can't disable green light on interruptor can you help me?
Tap 7 times?
my button light is blue, why?
battery getting low?
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV i dont know.. I saw other if25a is red and green.. But mine is blue and orange
I'm looking for a tail light DRL for my bike. Do you have some recommendation? Bontrager Flare alternatives? Sofirn sp40 with red lens?
Emisar D4V2 has RGB aux leds. Jetbeam Raptor has a red LED.
Does it get too hot?
it's very nice review,
I need your opinion, which one do you think better in built quality and light between sofirn if25a and lumintop fw3a?
IF25A, the Lumintops can have problematic buttons.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV many thanks for your reply. In this video is it 6500K?
@@kikylubis4064 yes
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV thanks 🙏😁
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV I'm new to the flashlight world and the fw3a was my first light. I do night time deliveries and it was perfect. I wanted something edc and yet powerful just to show off :). It was perfect, I loved it. Until I lost it... I was going to get the same again but after months of research got the sofirn if25a 6500. I'm charging it now via the nitecore V2 and haven't tried it yet. Between the fw3a and this Sofirn which would you recommend?
EXCELLENT VIDEOS. 😉👍🏻🇺🇸
What would your favorite flashlight be that’s around this price point other than this one? I’m going to get another of this one but want to try out something else too. Thanks
The regular tint ramp IF25 or Emisar D4V2. Love those 2
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV I’m new to this. What do you mean regular tint ramp? Thanks
@@yololol it changes tint from 2700k to 6500k
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV what’s your opinion on emisar dv42 vs imalent ms03?
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV that sounds cool afff. Have a link?
The only Anduril I have is the SC31 Pro. Not a bad flashlight but I find it ends up in unwanted modes due to clicking. What Anduril needs IMHO is a Anduril lockout. I have reverted to the much more dependable SP32A V2.0
Anduril 2 will sort that, it comes in a muggle mode, nasty stuff.
great new graphics there nice 1 matt 100%
Thanks for watching!
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV 😂😂😂😂💪💪👍👍👍👍
Great review! The IF25A should be compared with the Wurkkos TS21 👍🏼
Hey, cool review, where can we get that nice diffuser for this model?
How much time we have in Turbo Mode before its step down ?
Depends on ambient temps and temp settings. It will step down slowly from turbo regardless.
Nice video..
Sir, im already buy new if25a last week, my problem is why button not show green colour when baterry full charge..Blinking blue colour when charging n blinking stop blue only when full charge..is that normal..No green colour come😅..Others function normal..Just light at the button diffrent with you sir..😅😅
I got this with 4000k and it looks a lot less bright, think I made a mistake as its almost too 'warm'. May order the 5000k too and sell the other...
4000K is a high cri version so hotter and dimmer!
I don't like the really cool led colours but these cri dont sound too good! Also with one charger the red light flashes and another its steady red?
What is the runtime from Turbo to Low mode?
Depends on temps. A freezing night will make the light hold a higher output
How long does it last in turbo mode? step down?
There should be a graph in the review
re-upload? or new andruil 2.0 version?
V1 for me
I want to buy..want to ask..how many hours of battery life using high mode?
If it doesn't step down, then 2 to 3 hours of hours using a 4000mAh cell.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV thank you so much
Thanks.👍💯👍
what mics do you for recording outdoor?
Sony lapel mic, its not great.
👍Tuyệt vời Thanks.💯👍

Which is best buy, this or the SC31 Pro?
This
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV wow! Thank you so much for the fast response. I was watching a lot of your videos and had really a hard time deciding on my first FL haha
Hi, what would you prefer between if25a and wurkkos ts21?
Probably IF25A as it's a bit shorter and wider to help temps
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV thanks brother. I just bought sc31pro but then i felt if25a is better. Haha
How quickly does it throttle out of turbo?
From on
Can I get a clip for it?

Help me choose Sofirn If25a or Lumintop EDC 18..
If25A all day every day, Lumintop build quality is horrendous
Which one would you choose, 4000k or reviewed 6500k. Second question, which one is more versatile as single flashlight, SP33V3 or IF25A?
Imnot familiar with SP33 and for outside use I'd go 6500K. More powerful and less heat
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV Thanks for fast reply, do you think 4000k is much less powerful?
@@Funshy100 yes, about 1300-1500 lumens less
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV think I will go for IF25A 6500k, thanks for replies!
@@Funshy100 The tint of the 4000K will be high cri though, which will be nicer to look at and more suitable for photography.
I’m sure there’s others but the Anduril software is my favorite for a flashlight 🔦!! Waiting on my Wurkkos ts21 would’ve came yesterday but they sent the wrong one, sent me 2 cheap flashlights then today it freezes so no deliveries 🚚 from Amazon today hopefully tomorrow the weather is better!!
Good review
Which one the best value, sofirn if25a or astrolux ea01?
Probably EA01 at a push.
How do I activate Strobe mode?
Quickly Tap, tap, tap & hold, then keep double tapping til you get to strobe.
Hold to speed it up, tap then hold to dlow it down!
Sir.
Your If25a has a visible green shift tint on low to medium?
My if25a on low to medium has a slightly green color... Thats why i think the color of my if25a 6500k on my eyes it looks like 5000k.
Thank you...
A little bit yes.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV ow i see thank you Sir.
Now i will rate my order... im so satisfy on my new sofirn if25a... All features are working ☺️
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV I also noticed a green shade, should I consider it a defect and ask for a change or are all the IF25As like this? can it depend on the type of led? at low levels the SC31 Pro produces a whiter light. Thank you
@@stefanoc.1694 better late than never,.. what i have read about that greenish tint shift(from some flashlight forum); its a particular character of Luminus sst20,sst40 especially in the lower amperage/ lower mode, that should be visible. even Cree emitters also have such characteristic, xp-l2, xhp50.2.. but that should bother you only if you're 'whitewall hunting, outside; it shouldnt matter.. cheers🔦
What's better 4000k or 6500k?
I like between 4500k to 5700k.
Chanel terbaik 👍
nice. can you review sofirn sp36 pro....
How long before Bethesda notices the Skyrim music, I wonder...🤔
Pretty big for thos low output.
Better stick to astrolux ea01s with triple that lumen
