I would just like to mention that a bigger throttle body and plenum spacer can be on that full bolt ons list, I noticed a big difference throwing them on. I have a 75mm throttle body and 1/2" plenum spacer, I also threw in my 3.5" intake right before my tune and the pull on high revs is very noticeable. Your enthusiasm really shows in your videos! i actually am working with a 6 speed swapped 7th gen nissan maxima and this video still gives me good rundown on things to know before getting my tune on my VQ35DE done!
Dual exhaust is better for boost.
single exit is good for na power.
The difference really is preference, I think dual sounds better and looks better. Single exit is and like I said better for full bolt on N/A. Its honestly not a huge difference.
Also tuned by admin and I can say he is the go to guy !!
Admin plays safe and regulation for what your can and can’t do, I ran admin for a year , it was great performance.
As a G35 owner myself I must say I really love your G. Gotta step my game up lol keep the vlogs coming!
I had my 370Z that has a Stillen Gen 3 long-tube CAI and a Fast Intentions dual x-pipe cat back tuned by Seb at Specialty Z in Simi Valley, CA. He tuned it on his chassis Dynojet with Ecutek softeare. We got 321 peak rwhp with a 15% uniform increase in torque across the whole rev range.

Oil, spark plugs, clean throttle bodies, make sure air filters are good, make sure tires are good, maybe change trans fluid and differential fluid for best performance. Definitely wanna make sure your car is in as good of shape as you possibly can
“I completely forgot” meaning you never changed them, and that’s why you forgot to mention it..
Oil and spark plugs defidently, everything else it’s up to you it’s not mandatory, I actually did change my spark plugs and I check my oil every week, don’t let it go over 2500-3k miles before I do my oil change
What oil cooler do you have on ? Noticed you have auto as well and how was the Install

Single exit works better until you start adding more boost then more airflow in a true dual exhaust is ideal

They range about 800 or so for first tune, for E tune may be different cause you need to buy uprev cables but some tuners include that in your E tune like Limpmodetuning

I was able to sceduel it for 1 day but it was a retune so it wasn’t normal price, normal it’s 800 for NA and 91/93

I went with admin tuning for my g37. They did an amazing job I did it with ecutek. Is there a reason u didn’t return to them for a retune?
I had bad service with him also my tune was trash
As well as many people I know had bad service and turns with him as well

I'm not the type of guy to throw shade or anything, but that ebay oil cooler is going to possibly screw you over sooner or later. At the same time your G35 is actually cool!
My oil cooler actually works just as good as mishimoto. It’s like Nike throw a logo on a plain ass shirt and charge 60 bucks lol

So I would like to get high flow cats and I do want to get a crackle/pop tune. I don’t want flames but would I be able to do it with high flow cats? Or would I need test pipes
You can get crackles and pops with high flow cats, the test pipes would turn them into flames, the cats is what keeps it from shooting flames
@@HunterFilmsChannel so it wouldn’t melt or damage my cats? Over time I’d assume it’s do it’s damage but I just don’t want them to melt lol or would they only melt with flames. I’m new so I have 0 idea lol

@@omarllamas5378 Pops and bangs will blow out the internals of your stock cats or high flow cats. I'm about to get tuned but my cats are toasted anyways and hollow inside.

I got resonated high flow cats as of rn on my ipl, i was gonna get the isr y pipe and single exit, is that enough to get a tune and make the exhaust pop?

Uprev is the software tuners use to tune your car, it’s up to the tuner what he gives you. It doesn’t come in paclages

I went Limpmodetuning and missed an oil change. Best tune is ever have, admin was trash 3 days after I got tuned my car started messing up and my performance and all my pops after 5K went away. And still, yes admin is a tuner for amateur vq owners who just want a flame tune.

I disagree with you true duel make more power then a single exit exhust its just more expensive for a true dual exhust like the amm competion 3inch exhust system

Circuit werks but the figment was horrible on o2 sensors, I had th get new ones custom welded I’d just go isr tbh. Sound wise they close to the same
Yea I was gonna say just a intake and full exhaust doesn't count as fbo. It not too far off but there a few more things too do before your fbo. But nice g. I gota 03 de with lmt 4 in intake, 75 mm throttle body, kinetix upper plenum, isr cats, is y pipe, and z1 single exit. No tune yet but soon.
isr cats? you mean test pipes ? and why not completely the full isr set up why did you go with z1 single?
@@norio4x nah isr high flow cats. I have emission standards here. And I just liked the z1 logo on the tip. But I'm gonna go full isr front too back eventually cuz I didn't think there would be so much rasp from the z1 at low rpms. Also wanna do built internals and big turbo. Sit around 600 wheel hopefully.

@@norio4xmaryland. They get a lil picky over here. The cops don't really bother us but we have too get the cars exhaust inspected every 2 yrs and if it aint rite then they flag you registration
Where did u get the tune?
Tuners through Instagram some have websites you can purchase the tune on and then you email/dm tuner and sceduel with them. Each tuner is different tho

Bondo is actually quite more expensive but hey bows deals around to attract more customers, he’s known for his extreme flame maps which is why slot of ppl don’t like him but he does great performance and drift tunes as well

Dam google be lying g35s make anywhere from 280-310 ur tuned n said ur around 260ish thats a Mazda3speed stock n a acura TL faster than that stock too sheesh idk i might get a g37 now
