im actually surprise phish even uploaded this.... seriously.... trey comes in 4(?) bars early early the jajm, realizes it and tries to correct himself (somewhat successfully does, still sound pretty bad though). and then rest of the jam is mononotus and average besides for a lillte exciting spurts here. nothing crazy. midway thru it get better; picks up speed and mike really starts to be the start of the jam, with page doing great support. trey starts to fit in towards the latter half of the jam. long live phish. love you guys and all my pham. hope to see yall in 2021
@@matthewlawton9241 right, glad someone agrees. This was probably the worst run of phish shows I saw honestly, Idk dicks 2019 felt very much off.... it was a weird experience.. though I'd take that experience now in retrospect lol
@@jester070993 2019-2020 phish started really well, was hit or miss in the middle, and bounced back at the end. Mexico 19 was incredible. Excellent first and last parts of summer 19, but the middle dragged really hard, dicks was eh with here and there standouts, fall started rough but Charleston was really good, and they carried that into NYE with a really good run, and Mexico 2020 while not quite as great as Mexico 19 was still pretty damn good. Not too bad considering how they consistently dominated throughout pretty much all of 2018

@@jester070993 it may have been a little stale in some parts but it’s by no means a 2010-2011 kind of year where the lows are horrible strictly because of what I like to call a “micro jam”, for just a few examples listen to 6/11/19 Piper, 6/28/19 Birds of a Feather or 12/4/19 Runaway Jim where they fit a lot into a small window. The lack of length doesn’t look that memorable on paper but in actual playing it’s just as impressive as something that goes over 17-18 mins... and even so Charleston and NYE last year was more than impressive to me

Verty Apoaretly phish isn’t “Free”. Anybody who defends phish doesn’t understand the economics of phish. They are all about the money from live shows because their albums don’t sell. They aren’t very good anymore compared to ‘90-‘96. Trey lost his touch.
