Hi guys! Yes i am doing ok but slightly down beat after finding out that my ex wife is very ill. Diagnosed with cancer , she does not have too much time left and although not together anymore it still hurts as i am aged 71 now but we remained amicable so there is still a connection. Your videos and those of many others on UA-cam really do help to get me through the day and i think i can speak for many other people when i say that you provide us with something that we enjoy. I know that you both appreciate your viewers and recognise that you mean more to us than merely fans. You have shown that you care and understand that your viewers are from different walks of life where we all have our personal difficulties and daily toils so many thanks for what you do and bless you both in your adventures as you continue on your journey X.
Funny as …. , you two. Your vibe and humour is ace. Love to have a night on the lash with you. “TommyHillFinger” 😂 We’re away in the ice and snow 🥶 When you’ve passed your test give us a shout , come down to North Wales and I’ll show you around the best roads . Mitch & Hayley
Great vlog about winter sites, we are going to give Middlewood farm a try , fingers crossed 🤞🏼 Our decals were the same on our Rollerteam, we peeled them off using a hairdryer, then cleaned and T cut, decals round window just go round with Stanley knife gently cut the decal then peel off. We used Gorilla Graphics in Pontefract, they printed and applied the new decals for us, £350, looks great we are really happy with it, looks like a new van 😊 hope this helps x
Hello St Chris, nice to see Andrew at one with the cycle of the motor. The unicycle mistress and myself have trialed all over the North west...great times. Beta,Gasgas, Montesa...then I tried the road 🤕 Cars seemed to be problematic, just kept running in them and normally at immense speed. The semi smiling unifreak put a stop to it when she said the children were finding it hard to recognise me through all the plaster and bandages. Understandably I gave it up...but I do understand the pull of the bike world. One last thing "God's country" please do forward his address got loads of problems in flatland ...need devine intervention... understand he's busy but I'll wait my turn. All the best.. You certainly have a way with keeping our interest. We have a folding camper (it’s NOT a trailer tent) and the sites you visit all look very interesting. Sadly some sites won’t admit us as although we have a caravan bottom the top is canvas! We have a full cooker, fridge, hot water, inside loo compartment. Electrics and gas. We’re not winter campers, but with a heater it’s snug enough inside. We’re retired so there’s no hope of buying a motorhome now but maybe that lottery ticket …….? Meanwhile do keep us amused with your helpful banter. Our camper is wrapped up warm in the carport waiting for next spring when we pray for better weather than the last two summers and we can explore more of East Anglia and wider places with our dog.
Hi. How are you m? Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed and good luck with the lottery ticket. We hope you win a whole load so you can get a top of the range motorhome 👍👍
Thanks for the upload. I've got a static in Ulrome (between Brid & Hornsea). The site closes in Winter but after the caravan is drained down I always put a couple of large tubs of silica gel inside to keep it dry, works a treat, it does a great job absorbing moisture.
Hey you two, thanks for your update. We are at York Marina site. They are expecting snow, but we will wait and see. We are heading into York tomorrow for the Xmas market and just a good walk around as we love York. We are sitting cosy in the van as our heating is now fixed. I think this site only has room for 11 vans and right on river Ouse. Hope no problems at your hab check, and you’ll find that you can get your decals sorted without too much problems and expense. Look forward to your next update. Be safe Jan and Will x👍
We get our caravan serviced/ hab checked next Monday so hoping everything checks out OK for you. Going to look at caravan/ motorhomes is very dangerous as you always find one that better than yours and then convince yourself that you have to have it. Then you get home and realise that you don’t need to change. Looking forward to seeing your trip to marquis. Maybe you will buy a caravan😂
You guys definitely need to get a caravan as well, you’ll love it!! We have a camper van and a caravan and there’s definitely a time and place for both, best of both worlds xx

I used to sell motor homes many years ago when they weren’t so popular as today. It would be my dream to own one good luck to you both in your search.
hate to say it guys but you are better off leaving the decals until you get some warm sunshine in spring unless you can get the MH indoors in the warm.
Top tip - I use old dvd's wedged between seat cushions and wall of our motorhome to keep air circulating. You don't notice them, and I leave them there all year... unless it's raining and we want to watch a dvd 😂
My recommendation for South Cliff at Bridlington site, is buy a Radar toilet access key, because the council shuts all the toilets along the beach front between Bridlington and South Cliff after about 5 p.m. in the winter and if you like a pint or two at Wetherspoons Prior John, in the town or elsewhere and are not Usain Bolt, you won't make it back to South Cliff. The keys can be bought on line, very cheaply from a famous outlet beginning with A. There is only a short pay back period, because they get you in other public toilets for nowt !
Good choices there Andrew/Claire. I’ve stayed in most of them and would concur with them being great sites. One quick question, why are blue jobs always the rubbish ones?
Had a horrendous experience at Middlewood Farm. Went down to the beach over the fields without a problem but coming back there were cows in the fields and we had 2 dogs with us. Scared to death. Middlewood Farm too busy in Summer.
Eee by gum yor two. I 'ed to av a giggle at thi digs at CAMC .. 0.03 cms off the peg 'n 6 mph on t' site ..Sacriledge!! lol Arr'l bet Poolsbrook will nivver let thi on theer ageean. Som o' them sites sound terrific for a winter's neet. Can tha legally tow a caravan wi a Motorhome ? Depending on thi license owt is possible arr suppose, but practically, is anuther questun
The issue with the damp cushions sounds like "interstitial condensation" (where there is not a general condensation issue likely evident to inner surfaces generally). This may also be an issue with densely packed wardrobes inside old stone external walls. May be solved with making some sort of ventilated gap in backing supports (if possible). Sorry to be a bore...all to do with dew-point temperature (the temp. at which air becomes saturated with water vapour) being reached within the insulating material (cushion). Yawn. That campsite has an interesting name 😮
WELL ITS GOOD TO BE AT HOME SOMETIMES its all bills right now so i under stand i hope you go to heart beat land i have heard its good there but its only what i have heard .i could be talking rubbish here but its just an idea nice to see ya bye for now take good care young lovers
VW campers are the coolest but too small Motor homes are comfortable but caravans are definitely not cool but probably the most practical. Rules are to be strictly observed by st**** people and are a guide for people with at least half a brain. So I think it is ok to go 6 miles an hour.
Can’t believe Dame Judy didn’t correct the Kevin Costner error ? Feel we have been deprived of one of her classic sarcastic numpty comments. Hope she is well. Maybe she got fed up of carrying the channel and quit like Mr. Voiceover? 😂 Looking forward to your winter adventures ❤
Only started watching a month ago ,like your blogs ,but the negative titles on front of video ,turn me off watching ,I want to be inspired, not panic or terrible ,I don't keep watching those that pull it down ,
Was Costner in Braveheart. Thought it was Mel Gibson.
are you sure?
Definitely Mel Gibson. and the main character in Robin Hood was Russel Crowe. See, Andy does get his actors mixed up sometime. he knows too many.
Definitely Gibson. Don't forget to put damp boxes and bags in cupboards and under seats. You'll be amazed how much moisture is in your van.
Sean Bean was in it as well ….
@@Stchristopherofatlantis In his van, Robin Hood or Braveheart ? (giggles)

If you don't have one get yourself a humidistat it really helps alert you to mold and mildew breeding conditions ( I live on a boat when I'm not in my van so I know how bad damp can be)

Hi. We didn’t know this. We will definitely return so will use it 👍👍👍
Hawes village has the best repeat best fish and chips in the UK
Repeat Yeah yeah!!👍
Had a horrendous experience at Middlewood Farm. Went down to the beach over the fields without a problem but coming back there were cows in the fields and we had 2 dogs with us. Scared to death.
Middlewood Farm too busy in Summer.
Did you run fast? 🐮
@ we used our left over chips to distract the dogs so that they didn’t annoy the cows.
This is a very clever move 😂😂

Hi ❤️
The issue with the damp cushions sounds like "interstitial condensation" (where there is not a general condensation issue likely evident to inner surfaces generally). This may also be an issue with densely packed wardrobes inside old stone external walls. May be solved with making some sort of ventilated gap in backing supports (if possible). Sorry to be a bore...all to do with dew-point temperature (the temp. at which air becomes saturated with water vapour) being reached within the insulating material (cushion). Yawn. That campsite has an interesting name 😮
This is all really good to note. Someone has suggested getting some DVD cases and wedging them in to help with ventilation 👍👍 Thank you

Have you been to Waleswood caravan site at Rothervalley it’s council owned but really good and got a small ☕️ cafe that serves beer 🍺
Hello. Yes we liked that, it’s not too far from where we live. That is a good shout 👍👍👍 and it’s got a pub 😂😂
@@Stchristopherofatlantis also the pub is dog friendly which we like 👍
VW campers are the coolest but too small Motor homes are comfortable but caravans are definitely not cool but probably the most practical.
Rules are to be strictly observed by st**** people and are a guide for people with at least half a brain. So I think it is ok to go 6 miles an hour.
Hi 👋
Can’t believe Dame Judy didn’t correct the Kevin Costner error ?
Feel we have been deprived of one of her classic sarcastic numpty comments. Hope she is well.
Maybe she got fed up of carrying the channel and quit like Mr. Voiceover? 😂
Looking forward to your winter adventures ❤
Hello. She’s on her holidays 😂😂😂😂😂
