The face hugger scene at the beginning was legitimately scary. The grown aliens are scary and all, but they are a bigger target you have to hav crazy good accuracy to hit a face hugger with how quick and small they are and once one gets on your face theirs no chance for you and you're alive the whole time till it bursts out you chest. That's a horrible way to die and I hate spiders so they are even more freaky to me just gives me chills when I see them everytime.
Only problem with taht scene is that a cooperate b**** is STRONGER PHYSICALY than TRAINED ELITE MARINES. She threw that facehugger away as if it was nothing! And we all know that this is near imposible to pull even if your a dozen times stronger.
Imagine those Face huggers long legs and body are so fits for humanskinds….is almost like a big hand.(and will be fitted to predators face 😅maybe ) Looks like specific design for.
Life’s evolution is so much interesting and miraculous. I’m curious what burst to chest of mechanism is. maybe we have enough to stronger stomach acids or iron’s like harder digestive system of course much stronger than chest busters body acids or surface of skins then hunger crisis will be resolved in decades of future😂 we can eat anything ! bones, metals, rocks , trees and dinosaurs!

Like the acid blood thing is such an amazing evolution bc even if you cut off one leg then the acid could kill the person and the fact that it stays in your chest and not your stomach bc the acids we hav in our stomach. The fact that it just fits so perfectly over a person face too shows it evolved to be perfect for any thing that walks up right like humans and predator and even any other species like us out there we haven't met yet or found traces of their society on other worlds. The ppl who thought of aliens and the face huggers that make them were creative geniuses to think of all those things and make then fit so well that it seems plausible that some organism out there in the galaxy or universe could really be like that.

Ofcourse it's about money and we sacrificed thousands to save one girl. The story is stupid and convoluted. BUT like the fast and furious franchise story means nothing as long as you have explosions and pretty cgi on screen.

I REALLY like the characterisation of pretty much every character here. I mean the aliens are cool, but it's so refreshing to see everyone behave appropriately for their background and organically reacting to high pressure conditions.
Indeed and in case you didn't notice, the entirety of Cassandra's story-line was a twisted allegory of drug substances abuse & addiction! Those cultists are fellow sick addicts, pimps and merchants of death from her circle & when they finally pull her out from that pod all messed up, skinny with sleepy eyes & black circles under her eyes and pale like a corpse, she looks just like a sick junkie and that hideous gigantic monster chasing after her, is actually the addiction it self hitting back hard and trying pull her back into the nightmare which she's trying to escape from. Which goes to show what happens to under-aged little girls with daddy issues who refuse to follow and obey their fathers!!! They end up like that!

So this Game/Movie was far better than both Covenant and Prometheus. The character behavior made a lot more sense, and giving the audience control to make good decisions was cathartic given how unbelievably stupid the Crew in both Prometheus and Covenant behaved. I wish whoever wrote this had collaborated with Ridley scott on the last two movies. Great stuff, worth watching.

I watched the first Alien movie with my Mom at the theatres when I was in High School.... suffice to say I was hooked to the franchise right away, albeit contorted nightmares were fueled by these movies in my youth! Along the decades they've had hits and misses when it comes to sequel or even prequel movies made about the "Alien" Universe, however, if this was ever converted from a game into a Movie, I'd place it right up there in the top 3 due to the excellent world/character building along with a decent canon portion of storyline. Absolutely remarkable and Brilliant I say! BRAVO! 👏👏👏 GameClips has done it again by providing us with an incredibly well edited "movie" style portion of the game. Love the story and the new giant ancient alien species. Way cooler than the engineers! And the way scientists/cultists can freeze gestation of the xenomorph is a very intriguing idea! It’s a more creative and interesting story than any of the recent movies!

DOEs everyone realize that the vaginal opening on the FIRST alien movie is almost the same as this cloaca, the Queens arena? This game basically coincides with the Aliens V predator game I played way back in 2010. The entire planet was the Ancients build, it was known that The Ancients built BOTH the Predators and the Aliens as separate blood lines. Thousands of years ago, to experiment on which was better at warfare and design.
Love it all, just do not know why every scientist is portrayed the same way. It seems at the start of any alien franchise game/movie/property, just kill all the scientist because that is always the downfall or complication. Can we please have someone in the sciences in this genre act responsibly? Besides this trope, this was 100% outstanding.
You'd think the container with the alien in it at the start would have some more security. Seems kinda weird to leave a xenomorph unguarded like that considering the damage they pose.

@@jerryhu9005 Realistically speaking, with how dangerous Xenos are it seems like really poor decision making to keep secrecy above security. I’m sure the human government wouldn’t want the spread of xenos, it would have been more reliable to have a few commando squads pick up cargo on ships they are in control of. Knowingly putting these creatures on ships full of civilians while knowing it could cause a massive outbreak is absurd.

The crew gets pulled out of stasis years early and heads to a different target planet, a possible "utopia," to track down a distress signal.

little mistake in the game: Weyland-Yutani doesn't provide the CM their weapons. They get weapons from ARMAT, not Wey-Yu.
If memory serves they still supply a considerable amount of military hardware, including the ships, APCs, Dropships etc.
armat is the manufacturer. WY is the provider.
Actually no that's not wrong, a great deal of military hardware is directly and indirectly supplied by Weyland-Yutani, which also includes computer equipment and almost every vehicle in their possession, from APCs to their ships. And if you take games like Alien vs Predator, the VP78 Pistol straight-up bears the WY logo and Karl Bishop Weyland even comments the USCMC is basically a very expensive and powerful corporate asset.
Yeah which is why USCMC eventually gets disentangled from the Wey-Yu in some kind of complicated event involving conspiracies and uncovering just how deep the roots are in the Colonial Marines

I'll give it this: the cutscenes here look absolutely STUNNING! Just utterly gorgeous! However, as much as I love the entire "Alien" series of films, along with the game "Alien: Isolation" (which is easily, one of the greatest games ever released), I've got a bad taste in my mouth after playing "Alien: Elite Fireteam" which I wasn't even able to play due to (I suppose) my computer's weakness as far as graphics are concerned. I tried everything to make that damn game work - at least everything a computer layman knows to try...
Also, I'm told that this is a "top-down" type of game like Warcraft etc....I'm not so much into those types of games.

Glad I watched this. Was going to buy the game today but then had to take the dog to the emergency vets (she was fine). Definately buying this later but £255 to just tell you the reason you're dog has been wimpering all day and not taking a poo is because you're dog has just hurt its back a little. Flawless CGI…except the face I don’t get why we are this far along with CGI but so many games can’t seem to get the face right. I remember watching a FINAL FANTASY movie in the movie theater in like 2001 and it was CGI and was so PERFECT that I didn’t even realize it was CGI until like 15 minutes into the movie. What was the name of it…??? THE SPIRITS WITHIN. It was amazing ten out of ten a must see.
It's clearly going for a more stylized CG to fit with the ingame artstyle. The games budget was pretty small so you can't exactly expect CG worth hundreds of millions.
Spirits Within almost killed the company back then.
I would very like to see a Colonial Marines spin-off movie where they encounter something other than xenomorphs. I would even take a cg type movie.
The otago looks so much like the pillar of autumn and the scene was like the autumns crash on Halo and i hope this was deliberate as we know Halo too a lot of inspiration from Aliens so it would be cool if this was the reverse.

Really enjoyable follow-up to Alien & and Aliens as well as a semi sequel to Alien Isolation, it really captures the 1970s/80s aesthetic and rejects the Prometheus franchise in my opinion

This game looks fantastic.
One huge issue - the walking noise. Game after game provides aural feedback which is way out of whack. In this game, as in so many, the steps taken by the characters sound as if each of them weighs as much as an Abrams tank.
Humans do not make that much noise when they walk. It's immersion-breaking and extremely irritating. Hopefully the volume and/or intensity of such "environmental effects" can be adjusted.

That's the facts about EMOTIONS & UNSYMPATHETIC Space Aliens. We treat our fellow HUMANS as individuals while the Space Aliens all think telepathically together as one, so THEY see us as a Planetary VIRUS life form & think they're DOCTORS who should CURE EARTH of this destructive Virus. This is what our leaders are hiding from us, the knowledge that lots of Earth humans have to 'go to Heaven' , or be TRANSPLANTED onto another World & let this World heal itself with another GREAT PLANETARY FLOOD to 'clean-up' the mess we've made of it that is destroying this planet these days. Think about THAT!!! That means YOU TOO MR. "A.I."

the ending falls flat with characters deliberately killed off, otago suddenly already in the air, aircraft surviving nuclear blast, the dad is sleeping the entire time except for the deus ex machina, no epilogue whatsoever and we were left hanging

There are a number of reasons why some Alien fans did not enjoy Prometheus and Alien: Covenant.Some criticized the films for deviating too far from the original Alien story and for not providing enough answers to the questions that they raised. Others felt that the films were poorly written,with wooden acting and convoluted plots. Additionally, some fans felt that the films did not properly honor the legacy of the original Alien film. Overall, it seems that many fans felt that the prequels did not live up to the expectations set by the original Alien.
I think it mostly revolves around just plain stupidity. The premise is ill-conceived and ineptly executed, and the characters seem to lack any sort of reasoning skills, common sense or basic survival instinct beyond "run!" (and sometimes not even that much).

We are so advanced but these hurricanes keep getting in our way, only if we could do missions somewhere other than in the middle of hurricanes, like maybe not hurricane season, we'll just have to wait for another hurricane before we try again.

Anyone else remember when tech in the alien universe was more, believable, and even low tech? Why has that changed? Now they have shields, So many androids, laser weaponry, etc. I realize it’s been changing for a long time, but doesn’t:t it seem silly? I honestly find a realistic bureaucracy to be scarier than over the top dumb villains..
Not really, they had fusion power plants for the Atmo processor from day 1, the Sulaco having huge rail guns and point defense lasers. Synths being unknown among crews from the 1st movie, power loader robots in place of simple forklifts, Smart self tracking weapons etc
The Nostramo was low tech as it was basicly a haulage truck for a budget company
If you see something burning in the office, just ignore it and do your work. You will probably be alright.

Alien Romolus wrapped up filming and there's no stories about executive messing up thusfar, I hope it means they're respecting Fede Alvarez's vision and it'll be the little movie that could I hope it will be.

If an android soldier with an ex-Marine's memories, who died fighting against Aliens' massive invasion at a space base can become the protagonist of the next episode of this game, it would be an awesome game. And if the android protagonist has a small nuclear bomb in its inside body to explode in the center of the hive of Aliens to kill all of them in the final scene, gamers would experience an AI soldier's perfect revenge journey on Alien species.
Android soldiers should become the heroes for killing Aliens in the next episode since human soldiers are too weak. To the best of my knowledge, Weyland's mechanical engineering level & AI technologies already reached a new experimental phase to develop an AI soldier who can launch his commit suicide mission to eliminate Aliens without teammates' firing support. Without support from teammates, it might be a journey of loneliness but would become an unsung hero's glorious sacrifice for human survival. This game series needs a new hero who can't be human but has a human mind.

Ok, i admit, the Pioneer and the Otago make me remember a better franchise with similar stations and ships that STILL lack an RTS for space battles! We need a Halo where we have those massive engagements (also remember : Only the glassing beams are able to ONESHOT an UNSC warship, sooo its totaly doable! (Spirit of Fire even took on a supercarrier for quiet some time sooo its posible in that regard too (also remember "the package"... a mere frigate being able to CLAIM "we would need to destroy the whole fleet" and that they would be able to pull)

Jestem pozytywnie zaskoczony jak ta wspaniała gra się spokojnie i wręcz "cicho" zakończyła. Żadnego patosu. A mógłby spokojnie być, po tak widowiskowej rozgrywce. Córka sierżanta uratowana, idą do komór kriogenicznych, ujęcie na odlatujący statek i koniec. Coś pięknego.

Would the nukes actually accomplish anything? Yeah the surface would be jacked but all that stuff underground would be unaffected and continue like nothing even happened. There seems to be a whole lot more underground than on the surface also so whats the point
