Still crazy after all these years....1977 Bristol England Tubes show. Still one of the best nights of my life. Kept the free Camels thrown out during what do you want from life plus Vince Welnicks sweaty towel also thrown to crowd...poor Vince..😔

I know this is really old, but I would have never recognized Bill from this video, never!!

The tubes should be in the hall of fame. I mean Blondies in there.

I cut that ad from a magazine and put it on my wall in 1977; still have it somewhere. Saw the Tubes many times in the late 70s/early 80s.

Such a great writer! I used to sneak into his room and read his writings. He never knew.

I took a blue bear class with Bill in 1993.
    Was a great time!
Last time i saw him was at the Sweetwater in 1995.
He gave me his biz card, still have it but bet the phone # is wrong now.
    Love ya Bill!

You hardly have the "outtakes" from this? I notice you cut away frequently? Or the unused footage. Sadly there aren't a whole heap of uploads of Bill like this. I'm really thankful to you for uploading this, though. It's brilliant. Take care.

Bill should've stayed with The Tubes. Big mistake that he left. He and the BAND would've been better off.

This might be minutiae, but Bill points out Prairie playing guitar in that Peavey ad, but it's definitely Rick, is it not? I definitely see Roger and Michael Cotten.. I looked it up online and looks more like Rick playing bass in the ad. Maybe it's Bill's shades altering reality? Its just weird to me and felt like I needed to comment. Love Bill!!!

It's not Roger, but rather Prairie.

I Just Saw Golds For The Completion Backward Principle And Outside/Inside. And I Noticed The Dates At The Bottom Of Them. They're So Blurry I Can't See What Dates They Are. The Completion Backward Principle. I Think It Says March, 1982 Or 1983. And Outside/Inside. July, 1983? Hey Bill. If You Get A Chance, Can You Tell Me What The Dates Were?

Lani Silver was awesome. Sputnik has got some Native in him. Bill and the Tubes belong in the RRHOF not Steve Miller and his cheese rock

I thought he looks great. When people choose to step out of the limelight in can sometimes surprise you when you see them again all that time later.

He looks good but looks very different-sort of a thinner looking face. His voice sounds different too.

Welp, it only took you only 25 seconds to deploy the excruciatingly overused adjective "awesome." The world has been taken over by pod people who are not only not embarrassed to use this word; it's their adjective of choice.

Read The Gospel According To Luke. You will know the real Spooner. Steve Lukather was a real mastermind of two of The Tubes' greatest hits.
