Really depends how thick / thin you personally want it to be I would do it by eye / feel ….. if i was doing a Bhuna / Jalfrezi type curry then I’d leave it thicker but if i was doing something with less ingredients like a Madras then I’d add more water. But , as stated in the video , thats approx 3 litres base which i would add ‘approximately’ 50% water ie 4.5 litres 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
