Old Boomer here... I like it! Tipped off to The Lemon Twigs by a critic who I didn't recognize and don't remember who complimented their singing. So I had a listen. And he's right. I found myself reminded in a few places of Cyril Jordan and the Flamin' Groovies. I wonder if that was on purpose. If so, then great choice!
I was watching a Kinks concert from the early 70s, and it totally reminded me of the Twigs. I'm digging how they've tightened up the shows a bit. They are an amazingly talented group. Michael is really sounding terrific these days.
Thank goodness the camera cut away from the two in the bottom left corner who looked like they were ready to jump each other’s bones throughout the gig. Save it till you get home! EDIT: the camera cut back and they’re still going at it.
Oh how I adore The Lemon Twigs ... they're a musical dream come true !!! ♥♥
Totally agree!

Great job Jim and nice meeting you at this show. I was the grateful dead dude who introduced myself. peace.
Thought the ghost of Gene Clark has appeared at the 1hr01min mark. Awesome covers. Great to see them having fun.
Awesome cover!
Wow your new drummer is pretty darn good on the guitar! 🎸 😮😀
20:17 Wow! Thats a deep dive - not many who cover the Left Banke and NOT do Walk Away, Renee. Love these guys!
Oddly enough, their father Ronnie has a cover of Walk Away Renee online.
Opened with a Beach Boys cover and closed with a Beatles cover.
The Hicksville Beatles
Kick it!
Love after the Left Banke cover they all just change instruments
Any idea the name of the song they did by Phil Ochs? It starts at 20:18. I can’t get it out of my head. It’s a great cover.
It's "I've Got Something on My Mind" by The Left Banke, not exactly sure how it's Phil Ochs related though.
@@vcc947 Thank you so much. Their rendition is haunting. I’ll look up the original. Maybe Phil covered it too.
is this soundboard audio ? :)
How can he hate Tom Hanks, man?
pretty sure they're just fucking around
Yeah, maybe. @@offbrandcereals
Plenty of reasons...
