the tone on both those guitars is ungodly... thank you for gifting this beautiful moment to the world
It really is. And love the way he’s hanging there, poised, waiting for her to rip into her solo. Great communication between all members. Like the keyboard hitting those notes she couldn’t sing
It both makes me happy and sad that I’m one of 218 people that like this song/group. Just an aging gen-xer looking for amazing music. Thx Jay Som
Her songs get millions of plays on spotify
@@Dielawn69 .
Thanks for the info
makes me feel better.
They have tons of fans. I heard this on BBC
Beautiful - you really pull it off live. Equally cool as your bedroom studio version!
I played percussion and background vocs with Chicha Libre 10 years ago.
I like it, reminds me of the Sundays with cooler guitars
and that solo is good and weird and cool
I fucking love jay som ❤️❤️❤️❤️ omg like since the start they have been better than average. Now there superstars!
I found a $10 bill on the sidewalk while listening to this song. I ended up giving to a homeless guy before this song ended.
Looks fun to play
the drums are also so fucking tight! the whole thing is a masterpiece. mad shoegaze vibes indeed
COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
Stan Lee brought back from the dead just to bust some tight chords
I like how she let her Boomer next door neighbor play in the band too. Bridge those generational divides via the power of music.
looks more like The Unaboomer
Oliver is 28 lol
@@betobrakmo9157 Oh. Heh. Well
LMFAO he just knows how to disguise himself as a boomer
😍
She doesn't have the strongest voice but the guitar work is truly sublime.
Not sure how "strong" your voice has to be for shoegaze. . .
I think she was nervous, based on moments she seemed to stutter, but she was also enjoying herself. Her voice definitely holds up better in the studio, as with most artists.
get Alex G to play some songs from House of Sugar pls
nice shoegaze and psych rock vibe.
Chords?
All hail women
They screwed up on her vocal mic though. Should have at least had some more reverb on it, her voice sounds weak. I love watching her hit that pedal and play the solo though
Sorry 217
LOL that fucking solo. It was going pretty good until then.
Even Jimi Hendrix had his bad days with pedals, especially considering the audio knowledge they had then vs. more now. Kinda reminds me of hearing Slowdive live, and how certain aspects of their sound don't elevate so well at a venue.
ugh!.... sorry but, this isseriously this not good.
Why do you think that? I think it's a good song, maybe not something mind blowing in my opinion but good nonentheles. Although I think the voice is kinda weird like off beat or out of tune but it's still cool all around.
Highland House Studio Better than your syntax, and ability to proof read what you wrote for sure though.
Aside from the disastrous solo it's way better than the average junior high talent they showcase here. She has a nice voice. But she shouldn't be trying to outplay Derek Bailey.
@@NGC6144 Don't think Melina is going for Bailey here-it's more Shields/Halstead/Franklin.
I love this song! So cool to see it live...
