I hope you understood the formula explained at 6:42. You can change the formula like the following to meet your requirement. =ISNUMBER(SEARCH($E$2,$B3))

I only see that option ("text contains") when using option "Cell rules" but when creating a formula to determine which cells to highlight with the search field, there is no such option, only a possibility to look for an EXACT of the text. But in my worksheet I have a different problem, and I am unable to find a solution (that is, if there is one). Problem example: Let's say I want to highlight 2 cells, (A1 and B1). *a)* Cell A1 needs to be highlighted only if it contains text, *not specific but any text.* This text will appear based on a logical formula (IF function). So if a text appears, the cell background should automatically highlight, if no text appears, then it should not highlight. *b)* In Cell B1, it's the same issue except the logical formula brings in a number *(not specific but any number).* So if a number greater than zero 0 appears, then the cell and number needs to be highlighted. If the cell value is zero, then the cell should not be highlighted. Please let me know if there is a solution to the problem. Thanks and appreciate.

The Filter tool in Excel can be used to segregate colored cells. So, apply filter and then copy the filtered rows into another sheet.
