I’m super excited to get it out in the ocean in the next few weeks, it will be interesting to do a refuel on the water 🤔

If you use a hat nut or rivet nut, it will be more beautiful and will not collect algae in the water. I'll do it when the warranty's up.

How do they compare on the water?

It’s night and day difference, it would experience cavitation after 1/3 throttle or less if in a turn, now it doesn’t have an issue at full throttle. I love the permatrim on the 50hp too, easy on the plane and seems more behaved in chop 😎

Nuts should be above the cav plate not under, they are catching on water a lot otherwise

I like where your head is at 😎. I thought it would be a trivial amount on the 2.5hp both nuts are in line with the next, so I went with what looked nice but now you’ve mentioned it, it will probably niggle at me now though till I swap it 😂. I went nuts up on the 50hp though where I thought it would be a bit of a thing 💪
