I originally never 'got' this sketch when it was on, it was just a rude guy being nasty. Now (25 years on) I've known people like this and it's brilliant David Brent from The Office is another one that changes, when you realise how much of a prick he is, and imagine going for a pint with Neil. Basil Fawlty's another, he was 36 when he made it.
