@@elianlopez7121 so that's the same chassis as my old 2019 yz450f and would be easy to make you a street legal kit, email me at dirtscootdesigns@gmail.com
Look into the WR450F it's already equipped and ready to do this it's the same chasse same motor same 18 inch rear wheel same suspension everything it's ready to race it's just called AWR but it's ready for everything else.
Then why not just By the 450WRF comes with the fan, Comes with the kickstand,, Comes with the bigger tank, Also comes with the rear 18 inch wheel and same MX33 referring to. End of all the Omaha dirt bikes you could have possibly picked for A, Super moto. Lots of dudes make this mistake.
I am looking to upgrade from drz400s, and need to make it street legal in florida. The wr has benefits for this? Like, a stator, light options? Can same be done to x if you desire? Confusing lineup.
@@take5th I just sold my drzsm after three years with it. Bought a 2020 450fx with 20 hrs on it for $6k and sumo'd it & added a head light, brake light and mirror. The stator handles it np and you can add turn signals, I just don't want them. Everyone adds the tusk street lighting kit np. I got it titled and plated in Fl, it's fully street legal. It's a much better supermoto than the wr450f because it's the same exact bike with lots of improvements: Comes with a wifi module to tune and monitor everything with the power tuner app on your phone (wr added this late). It's fully uncorked (saves you literally $1k-$1.5k on an exhaust and gytr tuner), which means the exhaust doesn't have restrictive cats in the header or midpipe, no restriction in the muffler, no air intake restriction, no weird throttle stop, a higher revving more responsive engine, it's lighter and more nimble, it doesn't have that ugly wr headlight ($25 ebay led bar kit looks way better imo), better for scrapes cause no tailight at the end of the fender (i used a cheap led brake strip under the fender with the $10 tusk hydraulic switch), it's cheaper than a wr especially used, the suspension is tuned way better for jumps, is less soft and doesn't bottom out like the wr, and the list goes on and on and on. @chriscann2747 doesn't know what he's talking about lol.
Literally is the same chassie and motor except for the WR wide ratio transmission, Same beautiful blue rims but comes with the bigger stater plate and headlight and taillight and could already has the quick plug in for the street kit buying the wise Ed makes no sense at all.
you have no idea what you're talking about lol. the fx is the same transmission as the wr. the fx is a far superior supermoto option because of the reasons in my previous comment ^^
looks nice ! i have a '17 450fx , great bike !
great video
why is ignition coil assy bracket so loose. I have brand new and same problem.
@@RottenCottonSheep rubber isolated and what not for vibration id assume
@@Dirtscootdesigns very strange it wear quickly and more and more slack get. My others bikes are tight and rigid without some rubber
@@RottenCottonSheep add a couple washers on that bad boy and you will be good to go
1:38 see his finger touch that bracket? It’s not even solidly attached.
It's a rubber isolated mount, and I did check it the bolts are tight
Watch my other video where I install the fan and I talk about it
Pretty bike! Have you played with the traction control at all? Curious to hear how that plays on slick surfaces.
Haven't had the chance yet! Too cold in Utah! I need to go somewhere warmer to ride it!
@@Dirtscootdesigns Come down to Scottsdale AZ. It's 68 and sunny everyday here! 😅
Is loud a good thing?
If you are talking about the intake noises then yes I love that sound but after you twist the throttle a little more you can't hear it anyway
The wr doesn’t look as good tho
Pleaseee bro I want to do it mine street legal and supermoto but is 2023 :(
Fx or f?

he doesn’t want the emission restrictions the wr’s have. this 450fx is essentially the same thing just unrestricted

I don't like the looks of the WR and I ride my bike mostly offroad and at the track which is why the setup on the 450fx is better
