To elaborate a bit on point number 2 - There are so many UA-cam channels which compare colleges like IITs, BITS, NITs, SRM, VIT etc. But you should question their authenticity, because no one will have first hand experience of all of these places. They might not have even set foot in any of the colleges they are comparing. So take their words with a pinch of salt. Best would be to talk to students of these colleges, about only their own colleges. Maybe ask students of all colleges the same set of questions about things that matter to you and then compare on the basis of that. That way you can be sure of getting genuine answers.
Thanks for the info. Is there any significance for the order of preference , like if someone else's 1st preference with same mark has more priority than my 2nd or 3rd preference
@@PrashantKuSahoo-xg4rc No. Ties are resolved in the order of Math>Phys>Chem scores. Once ties are resolved, only criteria is merit. No matter where you and someone else has filled what branch in your preferences.
Bhaiya, I have some doubts if you can help me: I have scored 357 in BITSAT. I am confused whether I should put pilani EEE or Goa CSE on top (preference order). Is there a way I could make my EEE degree in pilani similar to ECE (via electives if there is such a thing at all). How is academics/projects/research in Pilani if I want to pursue masters abroad in the future? How do equivalent courses compare between, say IIT Kgp and Pilani, if I do get to choose between the two?
To help you choose campus - ua-cam.com/video/lzA6vjREChA/v-deo.html EEE and ECE are already pretty similar with only 2-3 courses different. They will have the same placement opportunities and all. Abroad research requires some degree of personal initiative, but a lot of people do in fact go for it. For same course in both KGP and Pilani, my best guess would be KGP. Though I don't know the specifics about KGP, but it's a great college and will give you the IIT tag as well (the tag can be used to differentiate between two similar course, otherwise for different courses, you should first think about what course you want more)

Being a dropper doesn't matter at all. Don't think about that. Getting EEE/EnI etc. as duals is pretty easy. So if you are interested in physics and fee is not a problem you can try for a dual. Yes you can get Eco, with a CG of around 9.3-9.5 Drop or not is a very subjective call. Only you can decide. Even if anyone says you should take a drop, only you will know the likelihood of you yourself doing things differently than what you did in the last two years.
