Try a secondhand store. You can find really nice frames for half the price that you would pay at Michael's or another store. I found some really nice antique frames at my secondhand stores.
Other idea you could you maybe try...is using fabric...and then get ride of the glass.and use it as a pin board...with photograps and quotes on ( dream board type thing ) :) I have made one or my bedroom and it looks great! xxx
love the idea of using it as a vanity tray! so easy to customise it to suit your room decor :) I just posted a room tour on my channel and there's loads of DIY bits in it if anyone feels like taking a look :)
Have a google of "make up academy" and put your town name", and it should come up with some make-up academys/schools/courses, these are a great professional way to become a make-up artist but of course they cost money! Colleges and sixth forms also do beauty courses too which is what most make-up artists start of doing.
it seems like it, or at least it looks very similar. I'm no burlap expert thought :) I think with that one you could use any cool fabric and it'd look great.
what is hessian? i thought it was a term used for bloodthirsty beastly creatures from days of old. or maybe i heard incorrectly when Ms. Louise was referring to the burlap cloth
Super cool! Although I've never heard anyone call Burlap "Hessian..." is that a British term? Or is "Burlap" a North American term? Either way, looks awesome.
More Louise on daily mix! She's my absolute favourite! Xx
Who knew picture frames could be so exciting!
Just watching this I have made a chalkboard for my kitchen. I love it! Thanks Louise xx
where do you get the paint from?
Emily Lewis you can get it from DIY stores or craft stores

The chalkboard/dry erase board idea is something I've wanted to do for a while! Just need to find a nice frame!

You can also use a frame to hang necklaces on! Looks super cute and girl, and stops them getting tangled :)
I'd use the hesian and turn the frame into a pin board you can hang necklaces etc from or just notes and photo's x
can we talk about how amazing Louise is?

Cute xx
For the vanity tray I would replace the glass with a flat mirror and use it like that :)
Great video love this channel and louises I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to become a makeup artist or how to get into it

Thank you
A cork board jewellery hanger! You could stick in little hooks to hang jewellery and pin on little notes and messages
You can also make them into tables I suppose. Just screw on or super glue some table legs on them and BOOM.... You just made yourself a cute table!!!
U can also make blackboard paint by mixing baking soda+acrylic paint
I so want to make the chalk board. If i could take the glass out i could also make it a pin board to put notes or hang jewellery on. :)
do you take the glass off the frame for the chalk board? can't quite wrap my head around it :-)
Is hessien the same as burlap?
it seems like it, or at least it looks very similar. I'm no burlap expert thought :) I think with that one you could use any cool fabric and it'd look great.
yes! :-)
It really looks the same, but I'd google it to be sure.
It is the same thing, it's just called hessien in the U.K. - but in the U.S. & Canada, it's called burlap.
Korr Mc
Yeah its the same just different names :)
you could paint the backing board with coloured magnetic paint and then put magnets on the back of your make up and stick them all up!
first comment😄😄😄
No lol
I have yet to find any pretty frames - where did you get that one Lou?
id do the noticeboard
you could make a magnet nake up board
chalkboard
Probably the chalk board! :D
Where do you get chalkboard paint from?
Craft stores or hardware stores should have it.
If you make a chalk board make sure to cover it all in chalk once the paint is dry then wipe it off, otherwise the writing wont come off :)
does anyone know where i could get a frame like that from?
check your local thrift shops, they won't have the same one but they have cool stuff usually for super cheap.
Hehe I have the furry wallpaper that is covering the vintage dressing room
Yayaya

i would make the chalkboard
love the chalk board idea but hate the sound of chalk writing but you can get chalk pens now instead so will use them instead x
Ugh same that's a great idea thank you xx
Just saw your lovely face on the news!
I could see the microphone !
Super cool! Although I've never heard anyone call Burlap "Hessian..." is that a British term? Or is "Burlap" a North American term? Either way, looks awesome.
In Ireland we call it "heshen", England calls it "hessien" and America must call it "burlap" :)
Canada, actually :)
What in the heck are you calling the burlap?? Apparently there's a different name for that in the uk...?
1st
A bit of blue Peter by dere
I would rather make the chalk board
