Great production, impressed me quickly with the natural overlapping speech in the first scene, thank you for sharing this.

this is absolutely one of the best productions of the show I've ever seen, and Definitely my favorite one I've ever seen. You people really got _the_ thing that, as someone who is obsessed with the original script, i am obsessed with seeing people get right: the naturalistic, aggressively human messiness of it all. if it feels like im watching actors, the show just doesn't work for me. and so, especially in the first act, but all throughout, this production threads the very difficult needle of being so well acted i forget it's acted. all the performance, staging, and directorial performances make me feel like im watching people, right there living through this with them, and so i really connect with it, which is for me so fucking important for the show to work for me (when the first act started a shout of "babe oh my GOD they are SITTING on the FLOOR BABE they are SITTING WITH THEM fuck YES" resonated across the house). every performance is so unique and delightfully layered and believable. the comedy hits great, and the tragic beats are eviscerating. (gibson's breakdown, the crosstalk, the violent-soft headtouch, god, i am never getting over it, im so happy to see a production that really got the right balance between tender intimacy and cruelty that the scene needs to be thematically coherent, fuck yes, fuck yes). truly wonderful decisions made all throughout, the tone was so perfectly captured every single time: light and heavy and funny and joyful and sorrowful and ridiculous, and then for the last act you really nailed the feeling of being in an oppressive-farcical fever-dream hellscape, which just, fuck, dude, that was great. kudos to everyone in this, what an extremely high-energy performance and kept up wonderfully the whole time. and, as a latino, i don't need to say how much the cultural changes added to the watching experience. very touching.
so yeah fuck dude i cried at the end and ranted about this production to my partners for like forty minutes, so just, yeah. fucking love theatre fucking loved this. seal of approval. knocked it out of the park.
