I was at that first AVN Awards. And for those interested, one of the things that impelled AVN to move out of CES and hold its own convention was the sign posted by the restrooms in the adult section at CES: "These restrooms are shared with exhibit personnel in the adult software area. You may choose another restroom. Thank you"
I remember going on the same trip as CES. It was a lot of fun to see all the stars.
