I have one of those Husq radio headphones. Been in use for around 8 years in forest work ( chainsaw, clearing saw, firewood). They have served well so far but now one of the plastic pieces holding the two sides together has broken. The radio is good and easy to use. Have changed the soft parts once. Now I quess would,be time time to buy new ones.
Rob you have really helped me to decide to go for it. I'm in my 50s. Redundancy has brought me to the need for a complete change and a new challenge. Based on the Wirral and just starting to purchase the basics and develop an online presence. Your videos have really helped me
Hi my friend, I congratulate you on your optimism, personally your videos convey peace, motivation and I agree with you to invest in yourself. Thank you very much for sharing your experience and I really like your channel, I send you greetings from México
Music whilst gardening is essential! I was planting out a border at 7pm, late shift, a few days ago, tired and dancing like an idiot in my own little world when I turned around and bam, my doctor client staring at me hahaha!
Thanks Rob , that’s a really good review . I have the Husqvarna X-COM r Bluetooth radio headphones. They’ve been brilliant. But , have stopped working which is a real shame ! Had them 3 years . Sound quality as you say is great . These have option to listen to music off your phone being Bluetooth and can hear when phone rings too . Must try get them fixed ….
They are good. The first pair I owned for 4 years, no problem. When The head band Broke I purchased a new pair which lasted about a year. Just stopped working. I blamed myself for rough handling so I purchased another pair. They lasted about 9 months. I'm unsure about the current build quality.
Rob........I've just subscribed! This is unbelievable........I was doing the same as you and what a pain!! I'm after some ear defenders like that. I've been at it 5 years and I've realised that I'm way too cheap........actually thanks to Robbie at Premier Lawns......another great channel! Anyway, all the best mate. Oh, and we're almost neighbours........I'm in North Yorkshire! 🤣 Dave
I used to buy peltor radio ones and they were £80 a go and lasted a couple of years. I switched to Norstrand off Amazon half the price and still get a couple of years before they start playing up.
Ive got a set of radio ear defenders, only ever wear ear defenders when hedge cutting, dont bother when mowing or strimming.mine are nordstrand ones £37 on ebay ,had them for a good few years
Nice one Rob,must get a pair of them. Been doing this landscaping business for years myself, and never really thought about anything like that, but you have changed my mind .right lets get shopping. I love my gadgets.
Good little review mate. I was contemplating getting these the other day, mostly for when I'm cutting the lawns. I use earplugs when I'm grafting with the hand tools as I get too sweaty 😂. What's the weight of them like?
These hurt my lugs Rob- more so after using. The pain/discomfort makes them a NO from me. Its the electrics that are not cushioned enough on the inner right cup. Hard a Clas Ohlson(i think) which is better but still not as comfy as could be.
@@maxwellsgrasscuttingservices cheers Rob- i like mine- just the pain starts later on. As much as Jeremy Vine makes boring subjects interesting- i need to find a comfier muff😖
How they holding out? I’ve got the red ones at 36£ on eBay and last about a year and a half before start playing up. They haven’t stopped the ear protection though so the padding’s good.
Thanks for watching and supporting the channel, please like and subscribe. See you next time👍🏻

Hello Rob,
How easy did you find it to set up the radio stations please,I can't seam to crack it yet. Instructions are rubbish.
Easy. Press centre button once, left and right is volume. Press centre button twice , left and right is Chanel movement.
All the best.
Rob my set of radio ear defenders stopped working, are these things weatherproof?
Hello Robbie, not sure about being waterproof. Mine are still going strong, fingers crossed they continue to do so.
All the best. 👍🏻
