Anyone who has read matt fraction's hawkeye knows that helping out someone in need and ending up in the hospital as a result is the most hawkeye thing ever. That's what makes both clint and jeremy true heroes.
It was someone he knew. They had received 3 feet of snow. A relative was driving his car when it got stuck. He was clearing the private roads and got out of his plow to talk to his relative. He went to climb back inside the cab and fell or something and the snowcat ran him over.
I don't think anyone is trying to mislead. There is probably a lot of emotion and confusion. The mayor and sherrif said he would frequently help others in the community. On this occasion it appears he was just working for his family and neighbours on private land. By the sound of it, it would have taken a lot of work to even reach the highway.
Well that was a cool thing for him to do, I know you often hear people, mainly the ones who *are* the trained professionals that handle this kind of stuff telling you not to be hero and that you should always leave it to them, which I understand why they feel that way but at the same time I’ve never really agreed with it, because to me in scenarios of everyday people trying to help out others in need it seems like the pros of doing that sort of thing far outweighs the cons, you should probably *hand them over* to the professionals after you help that person but as far as helping them out at first goes I think it’s totally fine for everyday people to do that sort of thing
I remember a clip of RDJ from an Avengers panel interview. He was asked what his fave moments on set were. His immediate answer was (and I'm paraphrasing and drawing from memory) anytime he was working with Jeremy Renner.
On the police press conference they say That stranded person was a family member who was stranded in one of Renners cars, he use his snowplower to tow the vehicle and unstuck it, then he went down to talla to his family member but the snowplower started moving and when he try to return to it to stop it that's when the accident happend and he got run over
Yes, he climbed on the moving threads in order to get into the cab. Unfortunately, he lost balance and went under the threads. I read somewhere that someone close to him said it was a miracle that he survived the accident.
That's not the story I heard. In a press conference by police, they said he was digging out a family member's car. After he dug it out, he got out of the snowcat to talk to the family member when his snowcat started rolling backward. He tried to jump in the snowcat to stop it and was, unfortunately, ran over by the machine. Did anyone else hear it that way? Glad he's alive and hope he makes a full recovery.
I'm not sure if the mayor said he was injured WHILE helping someone. I think it was more that he wasn't just doing his driveway, he had been out helping other locals with his powerful plow and at some point during the morning was injured. Apparently Renner has done a ton of charity work and donated a bunch of money in the area and asked for zero credit, so I'm sure the mayor is just trying to make his good deeds a little more well known.
For someone who likes JR so much, it's even more perplexing to me that John didn't like Hawkeye. That and Ms. Marvel are the highlight of D+ marvel shows for me (WV too, just did not like the finale at all).
Ive heard like 3 different stories about what happened, either he was helping someone, he was plowing snow so his relatives can get out of the estate or a different family member was using the plow and it started rolling away and he tried to get in the drivers seat to stop it from rolling. Idk how their can be so many different stories lol
None of this has come close to being verified. I’m a big Jeremy Renner fan and I have no doubt he’s truly a great person. Additionally the fact he’s going to be ok is fantastic news. But I’m not trusting the word of the Mayor who wasn’t even there during or after the accident. No one story has been corroborated. I’d like to hear from the stranded motorist and any potential witnesses. I’d also like to know how Jeremy became aware of the stranded motorists. I hope the Mayor’s story is what actually happened, but I’m not taking a third hand account as fact.

@@ThatWTVGuy Taken from CBC News: In a media briefing on Tuesday, Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaam said Renner was run over by his snow plow that began rolling by itself after he used it to dig his car, which was being driven by a family member, out of a mound of snow. A powerful winter storm had dumped more than 60 centimetres of snow on the area Saturday night into Sunday morning.
Jeremy Renner proving he's not just an awesome dude or hero onscreen but going above and beyond and saving someone irl. Respect.

This does not mean he would not go out of his way to help others. He was clearing his neighbors private road when this took place.
He's a true super hero. God bless him. 🙏🙏🙏
Hearing stories like this gives me hope for the world❤
A real hero. Glad he’s doing better and hoping his recovery time goes smooth.
Ok I have 9 different versions of this story now. That is unreal. From cops, the mayor, his family, his publicist. Wtf….he’s got chaotic mgmt.
Friendly Neighborhood Hawkeye.
No good deed goes unpunished

He even said he called Jeremy to play Clint. He likes the guy
Keanu and Jeremy are the celebrities

@Keiway_Mk5GTI a person running into a burning to help their own family is a hero. We are all heros unless your gutless.

That's what I heard.
It was his own family member that was driving his car that got stuck and called him for help. That was from the Sheriff's report
He basically tried to climb on the moving threads in order to get to the cab. Unfortunately, he lost balance and went under the threads.
He's the real life Hawkeye
Marvel has Jeremy but doesn't use it enough, I'm. DC has Ezra and Amber and has already used them more than enough.
That's our 'Mayor'!😉

@@captainjefferies9047 MoS is great though.
I feel like he's a bit butt hurt about inclusion of Kate Bishop as the new Hawkeye. He just wanted for Clint to be the sole lead.
My thoughts and prayers for Jeremy Renner I hope he comes out ok. Jeremy Renner is a true Hero God Bless him 🙏

Jeremy is awesome, he's a real hero
Where was Robert Downey Jr and Chris Hemsworth?
Renner really is the best guy in the MCU. I hope hes ok.
Hugh Dillon, who developed The Major of Kingstown, says he has heard from J and he is in good spirits, with sense of humour intact.
Jeremy Renner is a real life super hero
What else would you expect from.an Avenger

@@Jamfogerty that’s certainly plausible and probably true. Hopefully it can be corroborated by the family member.
I thought it was a family member?
