"I was just thinking of a bird who flew all the way to the other side of the world to find love only to be rejected and suffered awkward moments by the sink." - MADHURI (i just love this qoute from her..Episode 7 FTW! \m/)
Rebecca is beautiful. But Anisha is like NUCLEAR BOMB she's freaking pretty hot, GOOSE BUMP when she sang the eternal flame. I really like that part...
Wow! I went to the same HS as her, I was a few years younger, but she was ALWAYS beyond AMAZING in the school musicals! sooooooooo talented! Go Anisha! Congrats on all of the success, Much happiness to you!
I've been watching all the interviews and i keep forgetting that they are all actors and then i get surprised by how Normal their voices sound. Ahhh i love this show.
I never liked the song "Eternal Flame" until I heard her sing it. She just has one of those voices with talent and training that gives you chills to hear it. And she did this all with the hint of an Indian accent that belongs only to her character, not her. We want more of Anisha!
Correction: I hate NBC, I sent them a nasty email Yes I heard it was canceled . I agree but it is only SOME Americans that don't like India or Indians. I happen to have an affinity for that culture. I used to live near Vancouver Canada and I could get up on Saturday mornings to watch Indian Videos and listen to the music. Finally the podunk town I live in has an Indian restaurant. I will miss Anisha/Madhuri the most I think. I am very sad about this.I may quit watching TV ESPECIALLY NBC!
Q: "How did you find inspiration for the character of this show?" A: "Oh that was easy - I called AT&T and Citi and listened to their automated robot marketing system half a dozen times and found true inspiration !!"
Even though the movie version is centered around Todd and Asha they need to let Madhuri part grow bigger, I love her. "I know what the bobble head thing is!"
Wow, really cool personality in real life. I noticed she gets her credits before the other girls in the show so shes gotta have potential love interest in later eps. *crosses fingers*
I thought all of them would have an accent. LOL. Anisha was born and raised in Pittsburgh. Parvesh (Gupta) and Rizwan (Rajiv) both don't have accents either with Parvesh being from Illinois and Rizwan is Canadian. I'm not sure any of the actors/actresses on this show have an Indian accent. Rebecca Hazelwood (Asha) and Sacha Dhawan (Manmeet) are both England natives.
@Shakester71 @missa0219 & to all you people saying "omg she doesnt have an accent" EVERYBODY has AN ACCENT, and EVERYBODY belongs to a certain ethnicity. just coz you're american and that accent is the standard/norm for you, it doesnt mean it is some how the global standard. to someone from ENGLAND, your american ACCENT (yes, it is a type of accent too) sounds "different". so stop saying "she sounds NORMAL" here-there is no GLOBAL NORMAL. ughh these ethnocentric comments are really annoying.
This chick is hot and they better not cancel outsourced it's one of the funniest shows on tv. I say this because NBC has a tendency to cancel good shows even though people are saying they are great did you ever see kings? That show was awesome too.
@mukaikof Vancouver, British Columbia is a huge Asian (specifically Hong Kong, Chinese) city. As to California, there are a lot of Asians living there to be sure. However, there numbers aren't close to those of whites. California is ~ 58% white, 13% Asian and 38% Latino (of any race.)
@Calidesidiva well yeah im not from the united states but im gonna go to college there when i finish highschool , maybe then im gonna get to meet indians with "american accents" ;) .
It really shows how some people are so stereotypical, and she plays a great shy woman, cause obviously actors are not to be shy and always outgoing. Acting people it's called acting.
@banjojumping Don't want to ruin it for you, mate, but her name is Anisha Nagarajan, as you could see by the title of this vid. Don't call her by the name of the character she plays. Unless you say "Lara Croft" while talking about Angelina Jolie. :P That's not kind to call actors by their roles, they have a name and like to be recognized by it, you know?
Its called acting, she is obviously born and raised in America, she's an American Indian Woman and yes she is not what she is on the Outsourced show, she;s Indian she wear a sari, but yes she's an American girl, get a clue people-.- and BTW im Canadian heh
@mukaikof ... The U.S. is a Pacific Rim country (I know people don't think of us as such, but its true.) So, naturally we're more familiar with east Asians. Moreover, in the days of unbridled colonialism, The Brits pretty much had a lock on west and south Asia.
@AnonymousDouche30 Well, she could've been born in the US, with Indian Parents. I was born in NY but my parents are from India, immigrated here some years back and here I am "P And no, not all Indians speak with a "7/11 Indian accent"
She sounds so very different!
Kudos to her acting talent
I only watched this show b/c of Anisha Nagarajan
(Madhuri). So adorable. Re-watching the entire season right now mostly b/c of her.

Her voice is very aggravated, It is like the "Bernadette" effect. (And man, she is gorgeous!)
these actors are soo talented, able to act a whole new accent and voice, awesomeness~
Madhuri is the best,
this show is awsom, dont know why it had to go off air
Professionally offended snowflakes.
Her accent makes her so much more attractive.
She is my favorite character in the show... I can relate to her shyness turned to "showness"... WOW! you really are loud...
She portraited a indian woman accurately and very well!
Finally started rewatching after it ended and bought it on DVD back un 2014. I forgot how lovable her character is.
man, i love Madhuri. she is a good actress. good job Madhuri
I just love this show!!!!!
That ending to the interview was so funny it took a whole box of tissues. So incredibly sad this series was cancelled.
she is just BRILLIANT as Madhuri ...

I never expected this voice...love you anisha
Rebecca is beautiful. But Anisha is like NUCLEAR BOMB she's freaking pretty hot, GOOSE BUMP when she sang the eternal flame. I really like that part...

omg her voice!! i would have never guessed, what an amazing actress, beautiful too
I've been watching all the interviews and i keep forgetting that they are all actors and then i get surprised by how Normal their voices sound. Ahhh i love this show.
Well, that's called good acting .
Kudos to Anisha.
outsourced must have season 2 because it's very funny. and beautiful! i supa love it
"This was suppose to end like a Bollywood movie. I thought by now we would be celebrating your love with a coordinated dance." lol
i love you, anisha nagarajan.
i luv Madhuri: endearing, understated, cute, and has an awesome voice!!
Holy crap...what a beautiful girl!!!
She has some really intense eyes when the she opens them and gets excited, Seriously cute.
I never liked the song "Eternal Flame" until I heard her sing it. She just has one of those voices with talent and training that gives you chills to hear it. And she did this all with the hint of an Indian accent that belongs only to her character, not her. We want more of Anisha!
she is adorable!!!
Her voice and accent is totally different from her character on the show..who knew? :)
she is beautiful
she's my favourite ! I love her
no seriously how have you not come across indians with american accents?
Indian-Americans can do Indian accents because that's how we tease our parents. But we can also do the "grits is just ground up corn" routine, too.
Anisha, you're so damn awesome and cute!
Sounds like Miley.....SING CAN'T STOP!!!!
sooo deep... omg mind blown
This show was hilarious, all the characters are great.
I can't believe I'm hearing "Madhuri," like this
I'm so in love with this chick!!
I am an indian guy. and I want a wife like Madhuri. Not Anisha Nagarajan, but Madhuri, the character.
@mikeysdreamgal You mean NBC.
Correction: I hate NBC, I sent them a nasty email Yes I heard it was canceled . I agree but it is only SOME Americans that don't like India or Indians. I happen to have an affinity for that culture. here eyes are like 50% smaller here...
i like how she always seems like shes about to have a heart attack on the show
She is so cute I agree it seems the writers are pushing Asha down our throats but this is the girl for me so cuteeee
in love with madhuri than anisha
omg me too!hahaha
The catchphrase!
holy crap she has a deeper voice than i thought
She's my fave character so far even though it seems like the producers are trying to make us root for Asha.
I am in love with her!
Q: "How did you find inspiration for the character of this show?"
A: "Oh that was easy - I called AT&T and Citi and listened to their automated robot marketing system half a dozen times and found true inspiration !!"
Gorgeous woman...WOW!
Even though the movie version is centered around Todd and Asha they need to let Madhuri part grow bigger, I love her. "I know what the bobble head thing is!"
soooo cute :D
i love her huge eyes!! :)
I really liked this show and although I’m not Indian. I don’t see the cruel humor at all. I think it was a great show that could of been.
omg she can talk
Wow, really cool personality in real life. I noticed she gets her credits before the other girls in the show so shes gotta have potential love interest in later eps. *crosses fingers*
great actress.
it's SOOOOO funny hearing her speak without an accent or in her timidness loll
she sounds so different!!!

Holy shit! She SPEAKS!!!!
WHOA!~ DEEP VOICE! O____O

@Littlemisshavoc I agree with what the producers are doing, but I have to say Gupta is my favorite!
hahaha she is so funny in the show and she talks so different here
this chick has got it; she sounds so different in real life;
Now that you mentioned it she does start to sound a lot like miley cyrus.
Why did they cancel it??
i LOVE the simpleness that madhuri/anisha is!!
she's gorgeous and by far prettier than rebecca/asha! :)
@Honeydoole so "Every asian is good at math" is not racist?
@Shakester71 @missa0219 & to all you people saying "omg she doesnt have an accent" EVERYBODY has AN ACCENT, and EVERYBODY belongs to a certain ethnicity. just coz you're american and that accent is the standard/norm for you, it doesnt mean it is some how the global standard. to someone from ENGLAND, your american ACCENT (yes, it is a type of accent too) sounds "different". so stop saying "she sounds NORMAL" here-there is no GLOBAL NORMAL. ughh these ethnocentric comments are really annoying.
