As a Lebron fan, I don’t care if Jokić plays like this until 36-40 and has 3-5 rings he is better than Lebrkn and everyone else outside maybe MJ and Russell. That’s how much respect I give to him and become a bigger fan than before. Last night made me order his jersey.
It’s why I can’t ever agree with people saying guys like Curry, KD, or Kobe were clearly better than Lebron when Lebron plays like Jokić to an extent. Thing is I see Jokić doing the things Lebron does outside defense and I have to give that respect.
For me Lebron still has an edge but Jokić is so close to him and everybody else. If he continues this I have to give it to him and hope he does in a way though I like many other teams. But he has so much time but this year could be one of his last. Being in Denver will always make it a bit difficult for my opinion, but I hope he gives them a Spurs or GS run. He is special and LEGENDARY and what he does is not just great individually but UNSELFISH and great TEAMWISE. It makes it so much better to root for than MJ, Kobe (RIP no matter what btw and up there with the best for sure), and even Lebron.
Jokic doesn’t even talk big or hype himself up. Just plays. He is so similar to someone like Iniesta in soccer or football. True definition of a winner and leader than MJ making everything about him or most stars.

Nuggets were used to starting slow and winning in the 4th quarter, both in the regular season and in 1st round against the Lakers. Minny just came in and played full-throttle for 4 quarters, taking Denver out of their game and consequently winning the first two games. Then, Denver realized: Oh sh*t, this team really wants to play a full 48 ... OK, then, Let's Go!

Sometimes it's a fortuitous combination of players & coach that make for legendary teams. Lombardi & Star. Jackson and Jordan. Landry and Staubach. Jackson and Kobe. Reid and Mahomes. Auerbach and Russell, Popovich and Duncan. I know I've missed some. But here's the newest addition. Malone and Jokic.

Think though just through personality that he's a fan of letting the Joker take a lot of the heat.
Some guys just sort of fit together as a team and that's what the Nuggets have. THis Aaron Gordon is the best version of himself all career.

The Nuggets had a marvelous run of somnambulism, won a series vs. LA while completely asleep. They had a 5 game nap to start the playoffs. The Nuggets got rolled out of bed onto the floor for game 1, then when they flopped onto their backs, they got smacked in the mouth while they were down there for game 2. They're awake, now.

And I say this as a Denver and JOKIC fan from Serbia. Lets just take one step at the time.Timberwolves must fall next game in order for the Nuggets to be fisicly ready and not worn out.Good luck,Nuggets

It's all Shaq's fault. When Shaq dissed Joker in the MVP award presentation, he woke the sleeping giant, poked the bear, grabbed the tiger by the tail, played with fire, opened Pandora's box, let the dogs out, lit the fuse, unleashed the kraken, tugged on Superman's cape, spit into the wind, pulled the mask off the old Lone Ranger and messed around with Jim.

I can’t think of a better way to stick it to the sport media talking heads than to have the Nuggets win another championship. Most of the sports media at ESPN want to see either an LA, NY, or Boston team win a championship. They hate the idea of a small market team winning another championship.
The Nuggets aren’t following the prescribed narrative.

Celtics are probably cooked with or without Porzingis. I'm actually pretty sure C's are a tougher opponent without P - because Murray and Reggie Jackson were able push Porzingis out of his comfort zones through out the regular season and there's no reason to believe it would be any different in the Finals. Horford is actually much better about abusing mismatches.

Didn't Joker make a turnover during garbage time (closing seconds of the game)? He let the shot clock expire, and Reggie Miller even commented another player went to Joker to get the ball so that Joker won't get the turnover stat, but Joker declined.
