This game is genuinely so underrated. Personally I love the sewer levels! They were so eerie and creepy asf. The soundtrack is a whole other level of good in my opinion and honestly the atmosphere is just so creepy yet epic. The combat was actually pretty decent. Honestly my only complaint is the swinging and map. I’m dating this comment cause I can ~12/18/21

Underrated game, or more like overHATED, I think it was decent considering everything around it, devs, overall maybe it’s just the nostalgia blocking and clouding my true judgement.
It’s more so because it’s technically a Movie tie to the ASM films rather than being it’s own take which is why SMPS4 is loved and more preferred. This game is still good in my opinion tho. I still have it on my Nintendo Wii U lol.

I was 6 when I played this.it was an amazing story. The bosses felt new even though the enemies were quite basic. The games story is amazing and the skill tree was amazing as well.
I know a lot of people did not like this game, but when I was younger I absolutely LOVED IT. Now it doesn't really compare to like Spiderman (2018) or Miles Morales, but back when I first got it, and the years after that when I kept replaying it, I loved it to death. Still do
Word of advice (hopefully you read this) since you don't know anything about this game 2 things you should remember 1. The messages are important and 2. If you have a 📷 try to take a shot to every enemy you cross
I remember when this game came out my local walmart was doing promotion for it by letting people come play it for free outside the entrance to the store. It was the 4th of July and I managed to convince my parents to let me just spend the whole day there playing this game because i knew they wouldnt buy it for me. absolutely loved this game, wish i was able to play it more

The one thing I wish the ps4 Spiderman game had was the way this spiderman shoots his webs while still falling. In the new spiderman if you shoot your webs while falling,you stop and float in mid air.
