23. Mundaka Upanishad | Mantras 3.1.7 - 8 | Swami Sarvapriyananda

- Swami Sarvapriyananda teaches the Mundaka Upanishad which one of the major Upanishads belonging to the Atharva Veda. Mundaka means ''shaved'' like a shaved head. The teachings revealed in this Upanishad are meant to leave the student clean, or shaved of the veil of ignorance. Indeed, the study of this Upanishad has been traditionally confined to the shaven-heads, or the sannyasins, who have renounced everything and devoted themselves exclusively to contemplation. The book consists of 64 Mantras (verses) split across Mundakas (parts) and Khandas (sections) as follows:
Mundaka 1 - Khanda 1 - 9 mantras (1.1.1 - 1.1.9)
Mundaka 1 - Khanda 2 - 13 mantras (1.2.1 - 1.2.13)
Mundaka 2 - Khanda 1 - 10 mantras (2.1.1 - 2.1.10)
Mundaka 2 - Khanda 2 - 11 mantras (2.2.1 - 2.2.11)
Mundaka 3 - Khanda 1 - 10 mantras (3.1.1 - 3.1.10)
Mundaka 3 - Khanda 2 - 11 mantras (3.2.1 - 3.2.11)

It was worth waiting for the 23rd episode as Swamiji takes us to a spiritual journey going deeper into understanding the Eternal and closer to experiencing the divine Lord the Brahman,the unlimited consciousness. The time gap helped me to listen once again all the episodes starting from the 1st also read Bhavat Gita chapter 2.16 onwards to understand existence of existence.

Being created behaving as human species is very tiring sickening job.
Instead try to acknowledge realise ourselves as Brahman so we attain divine powers like Demigods atleast and live our lives powerfully forever better than this human body mind world form consisting of janma mrityu jara vyadhi and death and fear and nothing else.
26:40 So the appearance and the Self is also duality. One has to ask, for who is the appearance? Obviously for the ignorant. From within the frame of reference of lower level of reality there is duality. For e.g. you are dreaming, while you are dreaming, in the dream someone comes and says, this is just an appearance, there is another higher level of reality. Here within this frame of reference there is duality, because there is the appearance of dream and the higher level waking state. Even if you are having a lucid dream you are still seeing the dream, you have no clue about the higher reality. Once you wake up you are in the frame of reference of higher level of reality, in this frame of reference there is just the higher reality, there is no dream, there is no duality of dream and waking. Ignorant one has a pot vision, sees the pot and attention is not on the clay. For the Jnani there is just clay, just Brahman. Drishti Srishti vada is a model to describe ignorance.
