Nice job !!!! Be advised that in real life, the chute was dropped in the grass once runway vacated to allow other planes to land and taxi safely without obstacles.
Great Tutorial. Just one little thing that you mixed up (but don't worry, most people do). The angle of incidence is the angle at which the wing is built onto the plane in referenceto the longitudinal axis. The indication to the left of the HUD displays the angle of attack, the angle between the camber line of the wing (a straight line from leading to trailing edge of the wing) and the relative airflow. Even with zero angle of incidence planes can fly (eg most Extra aerobatics). During flight only the Angle of Attack matters, not the angle of incidence.
Interestingly enough, flying with 0 angle of incidence can be done at 0 AoA, provided you have a positively cambered wing. Flying something like an Extra where it's a symmetrical airfoil at 0 incidence, you'd need to rely more on AoA for lift.
Instant buy ❤️ I saw this plane passing over my house so much time, as I lived near the BA 112 of Reims. From times to times, I saw them "playing" with the belgian's F16. A truly wonderful machine 😍 funny things, I've done the intro scene with the 2000 some weeks ago 😅

Nice tutorial Red, looks like a fun jet to fly. A small correction if I may: Angle of incidence is not the same as AoA. It's the angle between the chord line of the wing and the longitudinal axis of the aircraft. So it's a design thing that doesn't change ( unless you pull too hard haha). Also, I must admit I'm not a big fan of the cockpit textures. A classic mistake of skinners in any sim is to make the blacks too dark, which I think happened here too. It doesn't look like a surface that's painted black, but something darker than that. Maybe it's just UA-cam and it will look better in game. Thanks again for the tutorial!

I thought so too but I took a look at some real world take-off footage for a general idea. It took the real world Mirage 21 seconds to lift the nose wheel and it was just carrying the two fuel tanks. In the DCS version, it took 23 seconds with the extra bomb load. So, maybe not too far off.
Why is so much of the cockpit seemingly in English and French? Maybe the French actually use a lot of English aeronautical terms but I find that hard to believe. On the CM panel up front it says "BOTH"... In French that's "tous le deux" which i assume would be shortened to "t. deux" or just "deux" but what do I know. I can only assume this is from the French exporting these things with later modifications in English. Good video, interesting plane.

@@RedKiteRender some of them could, i ask because knowing It would help know the timeframe for the CE we're getting since afaik only the 1980 3rd lot CEs could take barax pods
Cant wait for this bird. but is it me or did she seems SLOW on take off with Burner. Seemed like it to me
I thought so too but I took a look at some real world take-off footage for a general idea. It took the real world Mirage 21 seconds to lift the nose wheel and it was just carrying the two fuel tanks. In the DCS version, it took 23 seconds with the extra bomb load. So, maybe not too far off.
Does the F1 have a radar gunsight?
If so is it anything like the M2000 or is it simpler like the F5?
So cool...
WHEN is it getting released?
I can't seem to ever turn combat flaps off? Light stays on.
Is this the end of the tuturial series before the release?! No video since 9 days? :(
Unfortunately I'm delayed by the very active development of the module at the moment. A new video will come as soon as I'm cleared to do so.
Thanks.
Lovely
Radar tutorial pls
Shut up and take my money already aerges!!
Cause the version we get is a french aircraft in Spanish service.
There's some Spanish in there too. It's modelled after the variants in service with the Spanish airforce.
@@RedKiteRender Almost like listening to Bambini :D
what's the release date for this module?
None set yet.
