this is a summer bop and like the kind of song i will listen to whenever whenever i need an extra kick of energy it's almost hard to believe that this is only their first comeback, all the members are so talented and they deserve all the hype around them
They're literally becoming my fav 5th Gen boy group. Sonically Do or Die sounds like Xdinary Heros style of music. So proud of these boys with this comeback however I prefer the bside's more with this comeback! Can't wait to see what they have in store next.
This song makes me think of 1979’s punk rock groups the Ramones and Cheap Trick with a 2020’s update. I’m really liking this sound on them. The MV is really good-shouts out to zombie movies and I love the bright colors contrast with the zombies.
This is just cause I’m old but the van they jump out of is so close to a replica of the A-Team one used in the TV show from 80’s just the added stars and red line doesn’t rise at the back. When the yellow and blue blockbuster WAS renting vhs movies and legit TV with built in vhs player was deluxe stuff. Lol I wonder if a theme of revitalise older gen as well as amp up youth. In tricky house they had a middle aged man go crazy with new energy, this has zombies which aren’t running but could just be the folks that lost their energy in life either older, through work, family life, life in general and so they are literally zapping some energy into them to join the party. Hmmmm this was good but I prefer koong and tricky house and rockstar top spot 🎉
I just love how they can put out a song like Do or Die, which for some reason is giving me My Chemical Romance- Danger Days vibes, and then also have Koong (and the rest of the album really) come out that sounds like nothing I've ever heard of. Our nephews really are killing it.
