Dogs are extremely social and bond intensely to their family. He was definitely going through some feelings. So glad he has an amazing dad that clearly cares about him just as much.

So people who don't understand what is actually happening in this video: the baby cow was violently taken from their mother at birth, and the mother abused and tortured and the baby will be killed soon as well. The dog knows this, as they went to the fHarm together. So he's not upset thinking he will be replaced, he's upset at the horror and untrustworthiness of his "owner."

My sister stayed at my Mom's with her dog(Bella) for a holiday after my Mom got a new dog(Mae) and you could clearly tell that Bella felt like she was being replaced. And when my Mom and sister went to our other family's house for the holiday they only wanted to bring one dog because there would already be so many dogs at the house and they didn't want to leave the new puppy unsupervised. And while they were gone, I was in my room playing videogames with my headphones in, and despite that I could still hear Bella just lay on the back of the couch(which was facing the front door) howling because she felt like she had been replaced. This was something Bella had not done before or since. I had to go and pet and hold her for a bit to help calm her down. It was both funny and heartbreaking at the same time. Dogs really are just like little toddlers.

It's called a reverse sneeze. Usually caused by some irritation in the airway.

Wait, but that’s a heeler - they are bred to take care of those animals and are reared around them - why would a cattle dog be stressed about the calf when it’s grown up taking care of them? My dad's australian shepherd was very unhappy with the new baby he was paying attention to. We worried a lot about that. Then one day a few years later, they were both mysteriously "missing". Found them holed up on the kitchen floor sharing a box of donuts. They were good friends after that.

I got a kitten a few months ago to be a sister to my 12 year old Aussie - my dog was so jealous and I kept telling him I loved him the most. A few months later, he’s much less jealous and he and the cat are now friends.
My dog did the opposite! I brought a cat in from a gutter and the pup was cat’s first friend. Then the cat bonded to me and they started to get sassy with each other. 😂 I loved them both so much! Silly gooses

I have a cat like this. I used to think she was just mean to other cats but after more observation I realized that she's a jealous cat. If it's just her and other cats she's fine, but if I step in and give attention to any cat but her, she gets hissy and starts raising her paws.
