Love these videos. The radio newscast at the end is an added bonus. The next statement is an observation, not a political stance either way. Reagan sounded “youthful” before he became president. Amazing how that role ages a person so quickly. Cheers and thanks for posting.
@@scottledbetter7212 Glad you're also enjoying old radio shows from this side of the Pond. I also like listening to your great British shows, especially the 19th century ghost stories, a UA-cam channel titled Classic Ghost Stories and Bitesized Audio Classics.
Good grief! You're right! I mistook him for another actor for a minute, but the more I listened, the more familiar he sounded. Yup. Fred. Did you hear him in The Guy DeMopisant Murders?
It seems that this and The Others were swiped from an Armchair Theatre episode by Richard Lortz. It was even called "The Others." No writing credit is given to Lortz.
The Intruders makes me think of this movie with Nicole Kidman called The Others. Both, The Intruders & The Others, have similar surprise endings & the plots are similar, also.
Awesome I can never get enough of Fred Gwynne. Good 🌃🌉😴 night 💤 all from Kennewick Wa and thank you again for sharing these wonderful stories.

E.G. Marshals narration adds a lot to all these wonderful stories.
E.G. Marshall was one of those like Vincent Price, Tod Settling, and Orson Welles who had an absolutely unmistakable voice.👍👍
I meant Rod Serrling, of course. The eyesight isn't what it used to be.
Hi all listening 🎧 now from England .

@@douglasworley8422 Ditto lol! Well, 8:45pm😆
Elspeth Eric of course. What trait in her stories reveals her unique style of storytelling?
its a shame many actors like Lois Nettleton and others we saw in so many shows didn't get top billing
a Little anticlimactic but a good one.
Is this a hint?
On a scale from 1 to 10, it's an eight
Reminds me of shutter island.
